Spinach and Cheese Bake: Spinach and Cheese Blossoms

This Spinach & Cheese Bake is super quick to assemble with store-bought puff pastry sheets

Spinach and Cheese Bake Ingredients:

Spinach (blanched) 2 cups

Puff pastry sheets 1/2 kg

Cheese (grated) 1 cup

Egg (beaten) 2

Black pepper powder 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Method:

Finely chop the spinach and squeeze out all the liquid with the help of your hands. Now place spinach, cheese, salt, pepper and half of the beaten egg in a large bowl and mix well.

Preheat oven to 180° c.

Roll out puff pastry sheet, cut 12 equal squares.

Place these squares in a muffin pan.

Add a spoonful of cheese mixture in the center of the puff pastry.

Join the four corners as shown in picture.

Prepare all the blossoms in the same manner.

Brush with the egg wash.

Bake in a pre-heated oven for 10 minutes until the blossoms are golden.
