Loving the new look and style of Sonya in this new drama. Appreciate her effort to create an entirely different look and feel to her character, not just through her style but also in her expressions and body language.
3. Hadiqa Kiani as Khadija in Pinjra
What a heart wrenching performance by Hadiqa as she portrays the trauma of a mother who is unable to rescue her children. At the same time, she portrays the strength that her kids need to deal with the situation.
4. Sunita Marshal as Wajiha in Pinjra
What a beautiful performance as Sunita portrays someone who is trying her best to stand by her friend and is equally traumatized and stressed by the events. She makes us feel glad that Khadija has someone with her.
5. Wahaj Ali as Saad in Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha
Saad’s confusion, shock and then sadness at discovering Maheer’s feelings for Areeb was portrayed by Wahaj in a way that made our hearts go out to him. We must appreciate how he communicated multiple emotions through his eyes and expression with very few dialogues.
6. Yumna Zaidi as Meerab in Tere Bin
Meerab’s strength and single-minded focus to fight for her right is beautifully performed by Yumna. We like Meerab for who she is and do not judge her impulsive reactions.
7. Urwa Hocane as Dania in Meri Shehzadi
Loved how Urwa brought to life, the emotional journey that Dania is going through. The pain of losing her kids, the shock of betrayal by her husband and the faint hope that arises within her from Nana Jaan. She keeps us engaged and interested in Dania’s struggle.
