A drama that revives your hope in Pakistani Dramas. It is thought provoking, interesting, emotional and yet entertaining.
Here are 5 reasons why we loved it.
1. Uplifting Story
Well, if you are tired of negativity and an overdose of tragedy in dramas, take a deep breath and relax. Sar e Rah gives you a generous helping of positivity to uplift you and allow you to enjoy Rania’s journey rather than tiring you out. It was refreshing to see Rania’s father’s regular client giving her advice on how to treat passengers and encouraging her.
2. No Stereotypes
Rania has taken on a largely male-oriented job in Pakistan. But despite that, we are so glad to see that the drama doesn’t show her acquiring male mannerisms, in fact, she retains her feminine side with a newly developed inner strength – such an endearing and true representation of many women who struggle with dire financial situations. The drama successfully avoids getting trapped in this stereotypical pitfall.
3. Living With the New & Old
Sar e Rah highlights a vital issue. While we acquire new technology and lifestyles, what do we do with the old things around us, which are also the source of income for so many? A prime example is how the new cab app company refuses to incorporate Rabia’s taxi as it was too old and failed to meet company standards. Bravo team Sar-e-Rah.
4. Logical Story Line
The events in the story follow a logical and well thought out sequence. The story doesn’t take you from point A to point B in a contrived manner. The way in which the story progresses and characters react is very believable and doesn’t leave the viewer behind, so that when Rania finally opts to drive the taxi, we understood that this was the only possible solution for her and her family.
5. A Mix Of Good & bad Makes It Believable
Rania’s journey is a mix of good and bad events. She encounters some setbacks but then she also meets with some winning situations.
