First a request to the creators, please don’t show scenes in the promo that will not appear in the next episode. We thought the ruhksati will take place in this episode as shown in last week’s promo but sadly it didn’t. This was very disappointing.
The Right Thing To Do?
Did Maheer really cross a line by not getting ready and smiling when those toxic female relatives visited? Share your opinion? We believe Maheer didn’t have to get dressed if she really didn’t feel like it, as long as she was dressed appropriately. But she should have been polite and sat with the guests for 5 minutes. Regardless of what is going on inside your heart, there is no need to let the whole world know about that.
Neelo The Doting Sister Vs Neelo – A Fellow Female
Though Neelo the doting sister won, who couldn’t see her brother suffering and being blamed any more but we wonder if Neelo – a female, should have considered that blurting out the truth might tarnish Maheer’s reputation before everyone? Or did Maheer make the sister in Neelo so angry that she deserved this?
Rukhsati Plans
Aur taya jee (Saad’s father) if you are so angry and so hurt and feel insulted at the entire situation… we fail to understand why you announced the rukhsati on Friday? But it was an emotional scene when Saad’s father realised what he had done unknowingly, striking and blaming his son when he wasn’t really at fault.
Will Maheer Finally Feel For Saad?
It was good to see Maheer finally understanding Saad and appreciating him and kind of accepting the situation. Though we believe she needs time, she should focus on her education and then think about marriage. But if she has made peace with marriage to Saad, then approaching it with a slightly open mind, might help things work out better. However, Maheer’s mother turned out very selfish and materialistic. It was sad to see her annoyance with Maheer and failing to support her.
Typical Tarbiyat Dialogues & More Stereotyping
We couldn’t understand why Maheer’s father blamed the mother and her terbiyat. What did that have to do with whatever happened or is happening? Why can’t we avoid such regressive and stereotypical dialogues? The two female relatives visiting Saad’s home – such a stereotypical and toxic sequence should have been avoided. At least their dialogues and attitude could have been less negative.
Alas, we have to go through the torture of witnessing baba Adam kay zamany ka concept of zabardasti ki and sazishi mohabbat, hence ending up with a villain. That is Areeb’s mother convincing Faha to pursue Areeb and marry him. Array bai humaray dramas mein zindagi kay her maslay ka solution shadee kiyon hai?
Aur kiya hamaray drama creators lack creativity to come up with a better story line?
