Geo Entertainment Brings Ramazan Transmission ‘Ehsaas’ That Has Something For Everyone!
With the arrival of the blessed month of Ramazan, this year Geo Entertainment with its transmission, ‘Ehsaas Ramazan’ adds a multi-faceted flavour to the stories we watch that not only entertain us, but hopefully serve to educate audiences about the significance of repentance, mercy, empathy and generosity. The shows aim to drive messages that go beyond the superficial – from family bonding to learning from our mistakes – Ramazan is a journey and Geo plans to provide ‘Ehsaas’ on how we do things in this blessed month and beyond.
Keeping with the spirit of Ramazan, these 7 Shows seem to have something for everyone.
1. Tere Aany Se – Desi Family Feels With All The Bling
As the teaser unfolded, the stage was set for a story of epic proportions. Komal Meer and Muneeb Butt are poised to take the screen by storm, bringing with them a rollercoaster of emotions promised, with love, fun, and unforgettable moments.
Highlighting the essence of family values and bonding, Geo Entertainment presents ‘Tere Aany Se’ encapsulating the significance of extended family reunion along with a different take on love-hate story. Produced by Abdullah Kadwani & Asad Qureshi, penned by Samra Bukhari and directed by Zeeshan Ahmed. 2. Heer Da Hero – Action, Humour & Family
Behold! The entertainment industry is set to witness yet another debut of the talented actress Amar Khan, as she steps into a new role in the upcoming Ramazan play. This project not only marks her first appearance in a Ramazan play but also her first as a television writer. Amar Khan joins hands once again with the versatile actor Imran Ashraf, who portrays a character unlike any he has played before in his illustrious career.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of Lahore, this Ramazan play promises to bring forth the essence of Punjabi humor, but without the usual trope of cousin marriages. The captivating trailer hints at Imran Ashraf’s captivating performance in a character that deviates from the usual Ramazan play persona. It is bound to be an exciting spectacle, and we eagerly await what this talented duo has in store for their audiences this time around.
Heer Da Hero promises energy, chaos, laughter and excitement, starting from 1st Ramazan daily at 7 PM only on Geo Entertainment.
This story essays a long-standing animosity between two families who refuse to come to terms with each other. Amidst all this one thing is for sure: the family feud has never been quite this hilarious. Imran Ashraf is our Hero while Amar Khan will be his Heer in this upcoming Ramazan family drama.
Heer Da Hero is a proud presentation of Abdullah Kadwani & Asad Qureshi under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment. The drama serial is written by Amar Khan and directed by Saima Waseem. This distinctive drama serial stars many prominent actors including Imran Ashraf, Amar Khan, Usman Peerzada, Kashif Mehmood, Afzal Khan Rambo, Waseem Abbas and others.

3. Abdullah – A Ramazan Show For Children
Abdullah’s journey will resonate with many young children and parents who will learn from his winning messages. There is no time better than Ramazan to teach our children generosity, empathy, honesty by being aware of those around us who need our consideration and humanity. Abdullah might be the example parents seek and also, a soft message for children who always learn better with their peers.
To educate and create awareness amongst viewers of all ages especially children, 7th Sky Entertainment is bringing forward a thought-provoking series which aims to provide diversity to the overall Ehsaas Ramazan transmission.
Each episode takes viewers on a journey with Abdullah as he learns about various social issues and tries to resolve them in accordance with the teachings of Islam. Through his interactions with his family, friends, and community, Abdullah gains awareness and deeper understanding. The series is directed by Shahid Yonus and written by Amber Azhar & Nadeem Asad.

4. Dikhawa – Wordly vs spiritual
Ramazan is all about the balance between the two and Dikhawa aims to strike that balance. Audiences are invested in the human stories that guide the narrative; their flaws, triumphs, pain and eventual journey mark a path for many to follow.
After the immense success of previous seasons, the short anthology series Dikhawa has been renewed for a fourth season this Ramazan. This standalone episodic series focuses on the societal consequences of showing off and instilling the importance of realization and repentance for the wrongdoing.

The Ottoman Empire is resplendent with tales of heroism and set against the backdrop of a land laced with rich cultural heritage and intense drama, Mehmed: The Conqueror is a drama that might just be what the historian in you needs to sit down and watch in Ramazan.
The popular Turkish TV series Mehmed: The Conqueror depicts the life of Ottoman Sultan Fatih Sultan Mehmed. The series revolves around the life of Sultan Mehmed II and his struggles for imperial power and complex family dynamics, providing a comprehensive account of this pivotal era.

7. Kurulus Osman – Season 4
Kurulus Osman – another popular Turkish series to be aired on Geo. Continuing the legacy from last year, Geo Entertainment will be bringing fresh new episodes of the widely popular Turkish TV series, Kurulus Osman – Season 3 narrating the life and struggles of Osman Ghazi and his quest toward establishing the Ottoman Empire.
