Chand Tara
While we appreciate CT bringing back importance of joint family system, Tara wanting to spend her 7 days of holidays with her susraal rather than with Sarim alone was too far-fetched and might have failed to impress many. Tara intelligently involved chachi to bring Sarim back in the bedroom, showing the benefits of living in a joint family. Sarim trying to wake her up was the cutest moment.
Bonus points for advocating to spend money on good causes rather than extravagant wedding events.
Tara reminding everyone to welcome Mala after her defeat was a great reminder to treat our athletes with respect whether they win or lose, and Sarim getting back at Tara with a pretend sprained ankle was a cute move till the poor guy really fell off the stairs!
But Will Tara eventually realise that she is not giving any time to Sarim?
Fairy Tale
Pasha Sahib keeps ignoring what his family really wants. Umeed’s plan to open a chai dhaaba was actually a good idea, given her passion for tea. Both Farjad and Umeed are jealous and hurt with each other. The attraction is undeniable and endearing to watch. Farjad at least had the guts to tell Umeed he is bothered by whom she talks with. Will Asad manage to recognize Mimi’s feelings for himself ever?
Aago jaan found by Farjad was the cutest scene in the episode. The manner in which he brought her home and connected with Umeed’s family was so endearing. But will he eventually discover that Sameer had sketched the horse?
Umeed and Asad’s chai encounter was amusing yet again but we wait for both Faraday and Umeed to give us some more cute romantic feels.
Tere Aany Se
Once you accept that the comedy is a little OTT and events happening will be far from reality, you will find yourself rooting for Raniya and waiting to see the change in Maheer. Maheer and Raniya trying to get back at each other while pretending to be engaged did make us smile. One can’t help but like Raniya for not caring at all what Maheer would think and how she keeps reminding him that he is enjoying his baap ki dolat..
Raniya advising Maheer to marry Mona was amusing to watch. Especially Maheer’s reaction, since he was totally convinced that Raniya liked him.
It is amusing and uplifting to see Raniya’s character attempting to set things right for everyone around her. Komal Meer is certainly giving us an engaging performance as the girl who never takes things to heart but just carries on with a purpose.
Heer Da Hero
Heer finally confesses her love for Heer but will the Jatts & Butts age old rivalry ever allow their love to flourish? It’s great to know the mothers are in on their plan which is a day of hope for them both.
Heer Da Hero is amusing for those who are able to survive back and enjoy the ethnic feel of the sets, the language – switching from Punjabi to English to Urdu, the purposely ludicrous events and the raw feel of the drama. It is not for everyone, but those can relate are loving the inner city feels.
