From romance to disappointing expectations with married life in Chand Tara, Farjad’s struggle with his feelings and annoyance at Umeed, Maheer and Raniya coming together to Zain taking on villain mode in Heer and Hero’s love story, here is a quick FUCHSIA review of Ramazan Dramas.
Chand Tara
Looks like the honeymoon period is over, and Chand Tara are tasting the flavor of real-life issues through their first disappointment with each other. Was Sarim really at fault for not making it to the lunch? Why oh why do we have to show a mother striking 20-year-old son with a chapal?
Appreciating single father track and the challenges he faces. Will the drama show a new approach whereby Mala approaches a single father and will audiences root for this union or reject it? Dramas are able to send out powerful messages and this one might just be the most relevant one in Chand Tara.
Fairy Tale
Farjad trying to take out Umeed for coffee/chai was the cutest scene but alas Mimi appeared at the last minute and ruined the plan. Looks like Umeed is bound to get a big shock with her careless nature. The visa, the maid and her nature to spend impulsively and recklessly will definitely haunt her later.
We can’t decide, who tests our patience more, Sameer or Umeed? Dono na kuch kertay hain na kuch boltay hain? And how lost is Umeed, she doesn’t know what is going on with Haya, when all this is happening right under her nose.
Is Umeed a tad selfish or just too lost in her world. Will we see a journey there? Will Pasha sahib soften his stance towards his children? As we close in on the final run, Fairy Tale still has a lot to sort out with the family in turmoil. Interestingly though, Waleed’s exit will possibly be welcomed unanimously by fans of this Ramazan darma!
Tere Aany Se
Looks like Maheer has completely fallen for Raniya, na chahtey huway bhi. Finally at the zoo, they actually speak to each other rather than fight with each other. But they are still so different from each other, so we wonder how long this peace deal can last. We have to give credit to Maheer, how he managed the entire scene so that he ends up buying Raniya his choice of clothes.
The fact that they are both united through the loss of one parent might be the uniting factor and of course, the opposites attract mantra is actually real in this narrative. Why else would they
Heer Da Hero
Heer and Hero’s love story has turned Zain into a villain. The family wants Heer to marry Zain and her father is bent upon pushing her towards this decision. It would have been better and more interesting if Zain actually matched up a bit to Hero. His character has been painted as so OTT and non-serious that it is hard to see the match here.
Though it has always been Hero who saved her in a difficult situation, this time, Heer managed it all on her own. The drama continues to highlight the election campaigns and what goes on behind the scenes.
