Tere Bin – Camp Meerab Wins This Round, Murtasim’s Silence was Deafening!

Waqas schools everyone in the Khan household and Meerab wins this round. What happens next? Oh well, we predict more heartbreak before any chances of a union in the Tere Bin camp?
The episode was dominated by Waqas setting up a tribunal in-house where Mariam was subjected to interrogation before the entire family. Despite the fact that our hearts went out to her, we feel it was imperative that the family knew Mariam had tried to elope earlier with Anas aka Malik Zubair, and was actually prevented by Meerab! Camp Meerab scores point there, and Murtasim, Ma Begum, and Anwar’s sheepish expressions were a sight to behold.
While Waqas did his job as a lawyer fighting his daughter’s case, he, of course, failed to point out that it was Meerab eventually who let Mariam leave the house with Malik Zubair. Agreed Meerab had given an oath to Mariam, but some oaths need to be revisited if the conditions are extreme, what do you think?
More importantly, Waqas schooling Ma Begum on upbringing and comparing Mariam with Meerab struck a chord. “Your daughter is scared to share things with you and my daughter communicates everything with me, that is the difference in our upbringing”, he uttered. While we agree with Waqas, we felt it was a bit harsh of him to talk about Mariam’s upbringing before her, embarrassing her before everyone, but at the same time, also giving her his blessing.
The lesson in upbringing, however, (despite her despondent expressions at the time), seemed to not have really been understood by Ma Begum as she stormed into Mariam’s room later to further scold her for her actions.
Murtasim overhearing Marium plead on Meerab’s behalf might change his mind about Mariam, but will it make him bring her back?
Waqas saying that his daughter was unconscious for a few days was perhaps adding to the drama and layering on the guilt for the Khan family, but we are really glad he mentioned that she should not have been left out on the roadside.
Again, Waqas telling off Anwar on his poor parenting skills and how children have to be owned whether they are good or bad, was such a critical message for every family – we hope it created an impact!
Ma Begum telling Waqas that she did not turn out Meerab but her husband held her hand and dropped her home was epic! Do you have something to say about that? Tell us in the comments.
Waqas announcing that Meerab will never step foot in this house was met with a shocked expression by Murtasim. (Was he expecting to bring her back as and when he wished?) Please tell us what you think.
The news was, of course, greeted with great delight by Haya who continues to make hay while the sun shines, but for how long?
