Jhok Sarkar – Will it be Sassi and Noori saving Jhok Sial eventually along with ASP Arsalan? Perhaps Peeral doesn’t realise how deadly Noori can be, given she has absolutely nothing to lose at this moment.

It was a nicely executed scene when Noori discovers the truth about what really happened that night with Jeevan. Though we were scared that she might get caught. The fact that the drama balances the wins between good and evil, makes it an uplifting (as opposed to a tiresome) watch.
But This One Could Have Been Better
This week the episode of Jhok Sarkar needed better execution with reference to some scenes especially the ones with the mob and Sassi telling the villagers that the police was not to be blamed for the murder of her brother. Instead of creating an impact and making us fear for ASP Arsalan or feel the danger, it turned out a bit comical and compromised on the entire sequence. Even Sassi screaming out from the top of the cart could have been played out better. Outdoor scenes and action sequences contribute significantly to the impact of a story and can make or break the mood. Hence, they must be executed with great care.
The Beginnings Of A Love Story
Sassi has landed the school job, and we look forward to ASP Arsalan and Sassi’s love story. Meeral refuses to lie low for a while and maybe, will end up giving ASP Arsalan exactly what he needs. The two first wives are busy scheming against Noori and each other as well. With some predictable, some refreshing moments, the drama continues in Jhok Sial.
Directed by Saifee Hasan and written by Hashim Nadeem, Jhok Sarkar features an impressive ensemble cast including Farhan Saeed, Hiba Bukhari, Maham Shahid, Asif Raza Mir, Faiza Gillani, Saqib Sumeer and Sakina Samo, among others. It airs at 8 pm every Tuesday on Hum Tv.
