The Indian moon landing has Pakistanis celebrating too, and in a befitting way, sparking a trend on Twitter “Congratulations Neighbor”!

India is on its path to domination, becoming one of the only 4 successfully ambitious countries to land on the moon. Their space mission to the moon Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed on the moon yesterday. In 2019, India’s second lunar mission’s attempt to make a soft moon landing was unsuccessful – its lander and rover were destroyed while only the orbiter survived which continues to circle the Moon even today and is helping the Vikram lander send images and data to Earth for further analysis. India is jubilantly celebrating the success since yesterday across the country with scientists and officials clapping, cheering and hugging it out as the spacecraft landed and the public setting off fire crackers and dancing in the streets.
In addition to being the 4th to make a moon landing, in a particularly special first, the Chandrayaan-3 landed at a site which is closer to the moon’s south pole than any spacecraft in history has ever done so. The south pole region on the moon is considered to be a key scientific and strategic interest for those preparing to land on the moon as scientists believe the region is home to abundant water and ice deposits. India’s space mission offered many close ups of the moon’s stunning, dusty grey terrain. The space craft consists of three parts: “a lander, rover and propulsion module, which provided the spacecraft all the thrust required to traverse the 384,400-kilometer (238,855-mile) void between the moon and Earth.”
Well, it is a great achievement for humanity yet again and Pakistanis’ are heartwarmingly congratulating, applauding and sharing this happy moment with our neighbors across the border. Our nation and citizens have sparked a twitter trend “congratulations neighbor” Here is how we are celebrating India’s moon landing on this side of the border:
