22 Qadam – Ragra 11 got three points, all thank to the ghairat of the men’s team, who refused to play with them. Jealousy brought out the worst in Liza, but should Junaid have just left her out like this completely?

All The Right Things The Drama Is Advocating For
We are appreciative of the fact, that the drama actually advocates how teamwork is most important and to win, you must overcome personal issues and differences. The team operates as one and not as individuals. Another great point was the drama showing girls play cricket in Shalwar Kameez. Every sport has its uniform or a specific attire but sometimes you can do the same thing in Shalwar Kameez also. 22 Qadam is also showing how these girls are doing everything but not crossing any lines, none of their actions are inappropriate or questionable.
They are doing a great job of convincing viewers and maybe many parents that playing sports doesn’t mean they have to dress inappropriately or against the regular practice or have to do anything compromising. They can follow their dream while staying true to their family’s roots and culture. The drama also educated us about many cricket terms like sledging, pull shot and double wicket tournament.
Liza & Junaid Leave Us Even More Confused
Junaid completely ignores Liza. Was that right? Was he justified after the cold shoulder given to him by Liza? Or should he have included her… But great news that he made it to the team. Liza and Junaid confuse us. Are they just friends and falling for each other without even realizing it or are we reading too much into their relationship.
Another thing that is good about the drama, is the script proving everything through rules and law. Kiryana immediately pointed out that nowhere does it say that women cannot play in the tournament and if one team refuses to play, they will be disqualified.
Fari’s Relationship With Her Mother
The unspoken war between Fari and her mom is now reaching another level. We do question; is it necessary to do this? Can Fari not have a conversation with her mom? Should the drama not show that as a guiding point to all the emotional youth watching it and facing similar situations? Are Fari’s actions now bordering insolence and are a sign of misbehaving?
Liza sadly, does call up the captain of the competing team. We do hope she never went through with the match fixing deal.
