Tens of thousands of people have poured onto the streets around the world in support of the Palestinians as Israel prepares for a possible ground invasion of the Gaza Strip. From Karachi, Baghdad, and Amman to Jakarta and beyond, large protests are being held in solidarity with the Palestinians.
All over the world, people have taken to the streets to demand an end to Israel’s bombardment of Gaza after nearly two weeks of intense air and artillery attacks that Palestinian authorities say have killed 4,100 people.

About The Event
Laila AlQirim, a Palestinian residing in Karachi, Pakistan, is collaborating with her family to host an informative session aimed at raising awareness and funds for Palestine under the theme “Palestine | Mine, Yours, or Theirs?” The event is scheduled for Thursday, October 26th, 2023, at 7:00 PM and will take place at District 19. To participate, tickets are available at PKR 1,000, and interested individuals can register through messaging District 19 on their Instagram.
The session will cover various aspects, beginning with a concise historical overview of Palestine. It will emphasize the collective responsibility to support the cause and provide insights on how to get involved. Attendees will also gain valuable knowledge about effective online advocacy and how to avoid shadowbans through a discussion with Bilal Hasan famously known as Mystapaki on Instagram.
The event will be hosted by Osamah Nasir, with coffee provided by Bean Scene. Moreover, guests will have the opportunity to savor a delectable Palestinian delicacy, Kunafa by Palestinesweets.pk which is run by Laila al Karim and her mother in Karachi, and the evening will conclude with a heartfelt prayer for the well-being of our brothers and sisters in Palestine.
Notably, all the proceeds generated from this event, equivalent to 100% of the funds collected, will be donated to support the Palestinian cause, making it a meaningful and impactful evening for everyone involved.
