If These Drama Characters Had Valentine’s Day Plans, Here’s How They’d Celebrate

Valentine’s Day comes with two types of people: the hopeless romantics who go all out and the skeptics who’d rather binge-watch a thriller than acknowledge the day. But what about our beloved drama characters? Would they be planning an over-the-top surprise, engaging in a painfully awkward love confession, or sitting alone, dramatically staring out the window? We did the hard work for you—so here’s what their Valentine’s plans probably look like.

If These Drama Characters Had Valentine’s Day Plans, Here’s How They’d Celebrate

The Love-Struck Fool

Roshi would go all out, and that’s not exactly the world’s best-kept secret, right? We mean, there would be Valentine’s Day cards, flowers, cake, and presents popping up in the most unlikely places—of course, all as a surprise.

How would Talha respond? Well, we’d bet on a date at a swanky restaurant—lowkey yet in signature Talha style—with a present that, ahem, comes in a box. A ring inside, no less than a diamond. A solitaire, perhaps? Don’t judge us, but that’s just the vibe he gives off, right?

Oh, and while Roshi would, of course, be wearing red, Talha would likely opt for a bowtie, white shirt, and black suit—or maybe a more casual look, but a jacket would be a must.

But… wait for it. Roshi will end up spilling something on Talha’s crisp white shirt. And it’ll probably happen right as he pops the question, throwing the entire romantic proposal into total Roshi-style chaos.

But then, what else would we expect from the love-struck fool, right?

And that, dear folks, is The Love-Struck Fool on Valentine’s in a nutshell.

The OTT Romantic

How could Barlas and Apana from Khaie not make it to our Valentine’s Day list? Their sweet nothings, love-struck gazes, and Barlas’s dramatic grand gestures—risking his life just for a glimpse of Apana—all set against the dreamy backdrop of a secluded cottage in the woods. If that isn’t the perfect Valentine’s romance, what is?

These two would book a cozy cabin in Nathia Gali, far from the madding crowd, spending the evening around a crackling campfire, gazing into each other’s eyes, and repeating their lifelong vows—promising to spend not just this life together but all the ones to come.

Apana would, of course, be wearing the earrings Barlas gifted her, and as for Barlas—well, all he really needs is his signature shawl. One he can drape around Apana’s shoulders as they sit close, drawing warmth from each other before the fire. Though, let’s be real—they don’t really need a fire to stay warm.

And that, dear hopeless romantics, is the kind of OTT love story we all smile about yet secretly wish for. Raise your hand if this is you!

The Reluctant Date

Guys, we have two nominations for this one—because, well, inspiration is rare, but when it strikes, there’s no stopping it!

We could go with Bisma and Asim from Qarz-e-Jaan—they’re older, but let’s be real, they’d fit the bill perfectly. Or Sadaf and BA from SMD, considering he’s practically the king of playing hard to get.

But the honors go to none other than Bisma and Asim in Qarz-e-Jaan—with Bisma as the reluctant one and Asim matching her pace. Yet, with all the matchmaking happening around them (without their knowledge, of course), we’d say this one hits the spot.

The setting? Bisma’s terrace—the one place she escapes to for a breather. And Asim? He’ll be there, handing her a photo album with that picture of her—the one from the time he called her his Bisma. Oh, how romantic. Maybe, just maybe, it’ll nudge her memory in reverse, bringing back a little of her old spirit.

Of course, Bisma will be ready to bolt the second she senses Bakhtiar and his mom anywhere near. But Asim? He’s got a plan—asking her to make chai, just like old times (yes, that’s us adding a little nostalgia to their story). And just as she’s about to refuse, he’ll start singing a song—a melody from the past that tugs at her heartstrings.

Now, what should be on their playlist? “Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar” feels like the obvious choice, but The Breakup Song might just be the cheeky reminder they need that their reluctance is exactly what’s landed them here!

Got any better suggestions? Drop them below!

Next up on The Reluctant Date—

Remember we said we had two contenders for this category? Well, next in line is none other than Bilal Abdullah and Sadaf from SMD.

Bilal is the ultimate reluctant date—ignoring Sadaf’s calls, pretending to be in Singapore, and refusing to even look at her when he passes by. But, fortunately (or unfortunately), only one of them is playing this game. Because Sadaf? She craves Bilal Abdullah’s full attention and care.

Hmmm.

So what do we suggest? You guessed it—a dinner in Bilal Abdullah’s garden. Ahem. With Bilal in his house robe (yes, seriously), while Sadaf shows up in all her finery. Bilal, of course, will pretend to be completely disinterested, working overtime to mask his expressions, while Sadaf sits there, stupefied, wondering how the man she thought was head over heels for her could be this… cold?

And because no reluctant romance is complete without dramatic irony, the menu will be nothing short of a seven-course meal. Starters? Check. An exotic drink? Of course. Soup, seafood, steak? All there. And for dessert—Valentine’s à la mode, featuring a strawberry mousse and a dense chocolate cake with a cherry on top.

But… will he pop the question? Nooo.

Remember, he’s our reluctant Valentine’s date, and with all things reluctant, there’s always a question mark. So, Sadaf? She’s in for more heartbreak, more tears, or perhaps both.

Our advice? Manifest those single-girl vibes this Valentine’s and live it up, girl. And if you need a little inspo to step into character—well, you’re welcome. Yes, thank us later.

The “We Don’t Do PDA” Couple

DuniyaPur coming up, folks, with Shahmir and Ana taking the title. It’s all about straight talk with these two. They drop the pleasantries and get straight to the point.

Ana will grace the occasion in her royal look—chunky jewelry and all. We pick deep purple as her Valentine’s color—red is for the peasants, right?

And Shahmir? Let’s shake things up a bit here. He’ll be in a cream-colored outfit as opposed to his usual black because no PDA doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with your look!

These two will sip it up with a platter of cheese and—did we say wine? Uh, we’ll settle for grape juice. But the fortress they live in does remind us of kings and queens indulging in this love elixir to heighten the moment. Go a little further and add in dark chocolate for Ana—the perfect wrap for a no-nonsense Valentine’s date night.

Shahmir will go for a stroll after dark, pouring his heart out to Ana—it’s all about conversations with him—while she listens, planning her next move without dropping a hint. That’s Ana for you—an expressionless sea of emotions with a business-like approach to romance.

PDA is for those who lack intensity, and these two have much more on their minds.

The Teenage Rom-Com Energy Couple

Could it be Tan Man Neel o Neel? Rabi and Sonu sure have the vibe, except they’ve taken teenage to a whole new level. It’s all about getting on with it, celebrating, and supporting each other to do their best.

Rabi would plan a YouTube live—and why not? With Sonu doing the honors by performing live, dance moves and all, expressing his feelings for her. This, of course, would be matched with heartfelt vocals from Rabi as they both end up taking a break for chai and samosas at a local dhaba.

If anything, their romantic evening would be bombarded by Rabi sharing business ideas, while Sonu gazes at her starry-eyed, amazed and impressed by her energy. But then, some people just can’t leave work talk behind—and that’s Rabi, her mind buzzing with ideas, always determined to try something new and, of course, believing in the power of self. Together, with Sonu’s funky waistcoats and Rabi’s colorful parandas, these two can make it happen.

Oh, let’s not forget the embroidered shawl where it all happened. So let these two finally leave the ring light behind and sail off into the sunset on Sonu’s bike, with Rabi’s shawl blowing in the wind, adding a signature silhouette to Valentine’s moment.

The ‘It’s Just a Capitalist Scam’ Cynic

Oh dear, Mariam from Meri Tanhai would fit the bill—especially since she’s about to find out about Khizer’s two-timing.

So here’s the story: Khizer will bring her red roses, chocolates, book a dinner date and all, but Mariam will not be impressed.

If there were a Valentine’s Day cynic, she would top the charts as the one to lead the way. She might even return his scarf and woolen cap in the same spell. Celebrating Valentine’s Day is a far cry—if these two manage to even talk to each other without Mariam canceling his very existence, Khizer will be lucky.

So, to sum it up: The Capitalist Cynic will not be celebrating Valentine’s Day at all, because you gotta believe in love, and hmm… that’s not happening anytime soon!

Tell us if you agree.
