2. Main Manto Nahi Hoon

Main Manto Nahi Hoon is exciting, interesting, and truly entertaining. It makes us scared at times, then laughing and smiling, while constantly wondering what will happen next. The story has taken such a thrilling turn that now we are waiting to see if Mehmal and Manto will finally take a stand, whether Manto will succeed in saving Mehmal from Farhad, or if Farhad has another trick up his sleeve – and most importantly, will Sulhanama finally come to an end?
1. Biryani

At number 1, we have Biryani. The most remarkable aspect of this drama is its ability to remain engaging and enjoyable while delivering meaningful messages. As the story progresses, it continues to become more entertaining, yet at the same time thought-provoking. Biryani subtly highlights the diversity of ethnicities within Karachi, showcasing how people from different backgrounds – Sindhi, Punjabi, Urdu-speaking and others – interact and come together to form a unique cultural blend. Each episode sheds light on different traditions and nuances, from depictions of Urdu-speaking culture to Sindhi heritage, while even small details such as the attire of Meeran’s mother or the distinctive Gul Mehar wears add richness to the narrative. Much like its name, Biryani brings together many layers, creating a drama that is both enjoyable and meaningful.
