Case No. 9 continues to break barriers — tackling sensitive subjects like blasphemy, media manipulation, and the struggles of non-Muslims in Pakistan with depth and courage. It’s not just about legal battles; it’s about moral ones too — the kind fought in our homes, our hearts, and our social media feeds. With each episode, the drama forces viewers to confront uncomfortable truths while keeping them completely hooked.

A big round of applause for the drama! Tackling the blasphemy angle and addressing the struggles of non-Muslims in Pakistan was a brave and much-needed step. The way it showed how social media can be used to create a certain narrative and change people’s minds was a glimpse of reality. Both these elements were a knock on audience’s conscience, but in an engaging and entertaining way.

Ali getting a job at Kamran and Rohit’s company was a twist we truly didn’t expect, pleasantly surprising and exciting! This move opens the door for new developments, taking the story beyond just a courtroom battle and adding depth to the outside world as well.

Kamran is such a devious character. There seems to be no stopping him , when he decides on something, he makes sure he gets it, no matter what. It wasn’t enough for him to make Seher feel uncomfortable in court; he wanted to punish her and her family even more, publicly. For Kamran, it’s not just about clearing his name, but about teaching Seher a lesson, making her regret her decision and fear him.
This move also highlighted the bitter reality of today’s world: social media is a powerful tool, and public sentiment can influence judgment. No matter how thick-skinned one tries to be, it’s impossible to ignore. The character assassination of Seher has, unfortunately, been quite successful so far.

The drama deserves appreciation for showing something very interesting. Despite remembering the big argument he once had with Seher, where she made him look a bit foolish in front of everyone, Muneeb initially refuses Kamran’s request to run a social media campaign against her. It’s only when Kamran threatens his job that he reluctantly agrees.

Kiran’s indecision continues to frustrate viewers. Is there not enough evidence for her to doubt Kamran? Why doesn’t she directly talk to Manisha? These questions constantly come to mind. How can she continue living with Kamran like this, not leaving him, yet taunting him every minute? It seems she finds it hard to accept that Kamran could really do such a thing, so she’s denying the truth to herself. But this denial cannot last for long.

The drama finally solved the mystery of why Rohit is supporting Kamran — the secret has been revealed. The fact that Kamran and Kiran once saved him from a mob during their college days weighs heavily on his conscience. He feels that speaking against Kamran would be a betrayal. But someone needs to tell him that testifying truthfully would actually help Kamran, Kiran, and others — it would stop Kamran from committing further crimes, protect other women, and most importantly, ensure that Zoey, Kamran’s daughter, isn’t raised by a rapist. It’s a difficult situation for him, and sadly, no one is showing him this perspective.

While the drama has been progressive and different overall, we wish Seher’s parents had been portrayed differently. Their constant crying and completely defeated attitude is depressing to watch and tests the viewers’ patience. They could have been shown as supportive and strong, standing with Seher bravely rather than appearing so helpless.

The drama continues to educate while entertaining. This time, it highlights an important legal point, that a lawyer cannot assassinate the character of a rape victim. The courtroom proceedings are now moving faster, which is refreshing. The execution, direction, and camera angles never fail to impress.

We also liked how Benish told Manisha to warn Rohit that she would testify against Kamran herself if he doesn’t. That was a smart move and will definitely put pressure on Rohit.

Lastly, Farzana, the maid, seems to be the most intelligent of them all. She has figured out that Kamran is guilty. Could she turn out to be the weakest link in his plans?
