1. Gohar Rasheed as Inspector Shafeeq in Case No. 9
Hats off to Gohar Rasheed for pulling off Shafeeq, the cunning and corrupt police officer who ensures Sehar’s case is lost while keeping himself above suspicion. His fake yet convincing persona certainly deserves a mention.
2. Tazeen Hussain as Zubia in Jama Taqseem
Absolutely loving Tazeen Hussain as Zubia! This role is completely opposite to the serious and intense characters she has essayed recently. The light-hearted side of Zubia is refreshing and heartwarming and she’s absolutely acing it.
3. Sehar Khan as Khushi in JKSUKS
That one scene where a single tear rolls down Khushi’s cheek was powerful and deeply moving. Sehar had no dialogues, yet her facial expressions and eyes conveyed Khushi’s pain and sadness beautifully.
4. Romaisa Khan as Nadia in JKSUKS
Romaisa’s character Nadia, gives audiences a chance to see her versatility as an actor. The role demands a mix of comic, serious, and emotional moments — and she handles each one with ease. Romaisa is doing a great job portraying every shade of Nadia’s personality.
5. Wahaj Ali as Ali in JKSUKS
Wahaj Ali makes us truly feel for Ali — a man hopelessly in love, desperately searching for Khushi. His soft and subtle expressions win hearts, and we can’t help but go “aww” at his portrayal.
6. Naumaan Ijaz as Farasat in Sharpasand
A huge round of applause for Naumaan Ijaz for his brilliant performance as Farasat. He brings depth and nuance to the character, making him both intriguing and unpredictable. Watching him perform is an absolute treat.
7. Usman Mukhtar as Raza in Pamaal
Raza’s extreme nature, whether in love or anger, is portrayed perfectly by Usman Mukhtar. He plays the character so convincingly that we, like Malika, often find ourselves wondering what Raza truly wants and how should she respond to him.
8. Saba Qamar as Malika in Pamaal
What an outstanding performance by Saba Qamar as Malika! The way she builds up a scene and then releases all that emotion is powerful and gripping. Her portrayal made us feel scared for Malika yet relieved that she finally spoke up. As always, Saba delivers an exceptional performance that keeps viewers invested.
