Meri Zindagi Hai Tu just took a surprising turn and threw a twist we least expected. Ayra treating the girl who was with Kamyar in the video was definitely not on our 2026 list, but we hope the story sustains itself with equally interesting revelations.

Now, in addition to feeling for Kamyar, we are desperately waiting for next week’s episode. The internet is divided on whether the drama is promoting or glamorising drinking. MZHT has two very extreme fandoms.
While we are enjoying the drama, it is difficult to accept that it is full of scheming plots that we wish would not exist in 2026, like Khawar and Faria creating a full-blown plot to convince Kamyar that Khawar and Ayra are together. That said, we have to admit we rejoiced in the realisation that their plan has now landed them in serious trouble.
Kamyar has seen the girl who was with him in the video and has decided to take care of all her expenses. Kamyar’s sadness is tragic yet endearing. You cannot resist his tearful eyes. All this emotion is further enhanced by the Dadi–Kamyar interactions. We are loving Dadi as well, who is so deeply worried about Kamyar.
When Ayra holds his hand and takes him to that girl, Kamyar keeps looking only at Ayra, and that look completely melts your heart. Fans have gone crazy over that moment. Surprisingly, no one in the drama seems to be asking where the video came from, who sent it, and why it appeared at the time of the nikah. Even Ishtiaq, who has been right beside Kamyar, has not bothered to ask him even once why he did it. We expected Falak to have more sense, but sadly, no.
As if that wasn’t enough, the father suddenly changes his stance, completely forgetting how his character was supposed to be — supportive and progressive — and instead acts like a controlling, conservative father by announcing his approval of Khawar’s proposal for Ayra.
Is Kamyar’s perpetual drinking promoting alcoholism? This is a comment many viewers are making. Maybe the drinking scenes could have been cut down a bit. But the drama seems to be showing that Kamyar was good when he was not drinking and engaging in such behaviour, and that he is bad now because he drinks. So, in fact, the drama is passing a judgment that whoever drinks, loses control, motivation, and direction, ultimately ruining their life. Despite this, audiences — especially the female ones — are feeling for Kamyar, and that is the magic of Bilal Abbas in this role.
Khawar is not letting go. He should have waited before trying to approach Ayra and her family again. Ayra being quietly forced to sit in his car to go to the hospitaI was extremely sneaky and manipulative.
