The story moves on and as Pakeezah and Faraz’s relationship seems to move to a more comfortable association, with warmer moments, heartfelt conversations albeit still with a sadness between them, lots more happened that will be critical in how events pan out later.
Here are 5 moments in last night’s episode of Aik Aur Pakeezah that hinted at critical plot twists in the story line.
1. Faraz sending a video of his shoes to Pakeezah—such a cute moment!
These two are treading life with baby steps but the relationship is moving to a comfort level where Pakeezah feels safe with Faraz. The video exchange was a moment that hopefully brought calm into Pakeezah’s world. That and the way Faraz protected her on the staircase conveyed body language that hinted that they’re finally attempting to repair the damage and trauma they both suffered.
2. Is Asghar really motivated out of revenge for Yaseen?
Is Asghar’s motivation to support Pakeezah really to take revenge on Yaseen, not entirely to help her. Or was his father merely trying to dissuade him from supporting her. In all fairness, should he even be blamed for wanting to avenge his sister? And the fact that he is perhaps the only family she has right now (other than Faraz who himself is quite broken), should we be okay with his support barring the motive? Can the two emotions – seeking revenge and supporting his sister not overlap too? One cannot perhaps exist without the other.
3. The Investigating Officer Giving Yaseen a Tough Time Won Applause
Although we disliked IO for the way he interrogated Pakeezah, we have to admit—he’s giving Yaseen a tough time. He’s not falling for Yaseen’s power or his so-called “contacts or influence.”
4. Yaseen at Aliya’s Was a Tense Moment.
The scariest scene was Yaseen showing up at Pakeezah’s house and the tense conversation with Aaliya, where he threatened consequences. Was he threatening to murder or hurt Asghar or Akbar? We can’t put anything past Yaseen, especially when he is cornered.
5. Is Zubair Coming Clean With Saman?
Is Zubair telling the truth about Noor Bhari? And the way he casually tells Saman, “When you’re in the right mood, we’ll discuss,” makes us question everything. What will Saman have to deal with. It is certainy ironic that she, who fights for women’s rights is now faced with a battle for her own.
