The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), in partnership with Humnava, has announced the special release of “Sway,” a global music collaboration co-curated by acclaimed producer Xulfi, marking the first national cultural moment celebrated by the PFF. Shot across the mountains of Hunza and the streets of Lyari, “Sway” brings together artists from around the world to give Pakistan’s football dream a global voice.

A cultural collaboration born out of the football community, “Sway” serves as a soundtrack to conversations, dreams and the culture growing around the sport nationwide. Indeed, the track connects two powerful expressions of Pakistan: its cultural diversity and its deep, enduring love for football.
“Sway” arrives at a time when football in Pakistan is enjoying its most significant period of momentum in decades. The national men’s team had a historic victory at the Diamond Jubilee International Football Tournament in the Maldives, defeating Afghanistan in the final – Pakistan’s first football title in 35 years and its first standalone tournament title in 74 years.
The women’s national team has matched that momentum, making its historic debut on the FIFA stage at the 2026 FIFA Series in Côte d’Ivoire – the first time the Pakistan women’s team has featured at a senior FIFA-sanctioned event. The side opened its campaign with an 8-0 victory over the Turks and Caicos Islands, the biggest victory in the team’s history, on its way to a third-place finish in the group.
Beyond the national teams, football already lives across Pakistan. It is played in neighborhood grounds, schools, academies and communities from Lyari to Chitral, Karachi to Lahore, and Quetta to Gilgit-Baltistan. It is followed by generations of supporters who see the sport as a source of identity, aspiration and belonging.
Through “Sway”, PFF and Humnava aim to give this rising football culture a soundtrack – by bringing the wider football community into one national conversation: a conversation about where Pakistan football stands today, the people who have carried it forward and the dream of where it can go next.Mohsen Gilani, President PFF, Pakistan Football Federation, said, “Pakistan’s football story belongs to every player, coach, supporter and community that has kept the game alive across the country.
Our men’s and women’s teams are creating moments that are giving supporters new reasons to believe. Xulfi, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Humnava, said,
“With this dream, we watch every World Cup. Every upset, every underdog moment, every winning goal makes us want to see our team on the world stage even more. Music carries that same promise — every raw voice, every song hummed, every melody that refuses to stay unheard – until we can’t help but imagine it reaching the world, carrying the Voice of Pakistan with it. And Lyari has been the home ground to both these promises. Its streets have cheered goals and grown voices in the same breath. It has watched its own boys, Better Future Pakistan, go unbeaten across a foreign field to lift the Norway Cup, and it has heard its own voices, Eva B and Kaifi Khalil, rise from those same streets until the world had no choice but to listen. It reminds us that football is more than a game, and music is more than sound – they are both proof that a place written off by everyone else can still produce something the whole world stops to listen to. They’re a reason to forget our differences. A reason to share love.”
The song features performers from around the world, reflecting the global aspirations of Pakistani football. “Sway” is ultimately a celebration of a simple but powerful idea: Pakistan’s football dream is alive, it belongs to the entire country and it deserves a soundtrack.
