Last night’s episode of Zanjeerain gave us moments that were equal parts heartbreaking, thrilling, and impossible to ignore. From Rabeeya’s unexpected move to the changing dynamics between her and Sar Buland, the episode had a lot to unpack.
Zalima, yeh kya kiya… Rabeeya ki sachai Sohrab ko bata di… Not fair, dear drama, you are playing with our hearts. It was with great dread and fear that we saw Tayyab calling Bano’s number. Tayyab bhai, not sure you are our favorite anymore. On a serious note, “zabardast twist!”
Team Rabeeya and Sarbuland — Zindabad!
The way Rabeeya stopped Sar Buland from drinking the juice was so thrilling. Shireen madam, khair manao, Rabeeya is back and in the house.
It was so eerie when Shireen turned around and Rabeeya was standing at the kitchen door, staring straight at her.
Sar Buland and Rabeeya are becoming friends, partners in crime, and two human beings who realize they probably only have each other for survival. Rabeeya’s realization — that there must be a reason Allah sent Sar Buland as her protector — really hit home, not just for Rabeeya but for us as the audience too. It was a beautiful thought.
The reason Sar Buland is drawn to Rabeeya and tells her everything is because she is the only person he trusts blindly.
The chain of tragedy has them connected deeply. Also, he probably doesn’t expect anything from her like Sher Bano did from him, or he doesn’t have the pressure of loving her back with the same intensity as he might have felt with Sher Bano.
