1. Why did Sania go back?
Sometimes love just cripples you. Despite seeing the red flags, you choose to believe things will change.
Love can also make you prioritize the other person more than yourself — and that is exactly what is happening here.
2. Why did Sania choose to give up her residency?
The pressure of making a marriage survive is so overwhelming that you are willing to give up your entire self. The guilt of wondering how you could react this way about your own baby, what kind of mother that makes you — all these pressures and expectations make you choose what everyone else thinks is the right thing to do, not what is actually good for you or what you truly want.
3. Why is the drama showing Sania not recognizing the red flags, despite being an independent woman?
Because even the smartest and most independent woman can be broken down through emotional and mental abuse, manipulation, and blackmail.
People who are being abused cannot take a stand immediately — it takes time to eventually realize that things will never change.
Sania will soon come to this realization — that Salman will never stop demanding from her, and will never give up any of his own dreams for her.
4. Why is Salman not supporting Sania?
Because he is his father’s son. Salman is also proof that when mothers fail to stand up for themselves, they unknowingly strengthen certain ideas in their children’s minds. Salman has watched his father control his mother, and seen his father achieve success and everything else he wanted in life. So in his mind, those who control and are selfish — like his father, like his brother — win. And those who give in — like his mother — only suffer. So he too, is choosing himself over everything else.
5. How is Faizan having a happy ending? He and Dr. Amber are together with a daughter, after all the cheating and betrayal. Where is the makafat-e-amal?
Honestly, we do not have an answer to this either. We are just as surprised.
6. Is Sania being selfish and a bad wife for feeling jealous of Salman and saying it out loud?
Sania’s raw and honest emotions were perhaps one of the highlights of the drama. It is a feeling many women might experience but dare not express — because how can you be jealous of your husband? But what Sania is feeling is not really jealousy. It is sadness, resentment, and disappointment, and a sense of loss.
She is watching herself become the only one who had to let go of her dreams, knowing she could have achieved so much — and no one even acknowledges what she has sacrificed. Her giving up everything is treated as the most normal, expected thing in the world, with no recognition of what has truly been lost. So it is not jealousy — it is a cry for justice. Why is it that being a woman means you cannot have the same opportunities as a man?
7. Why did Sania keep getting angry at Salman, despite his many efforts?
Sania was angry because Salman simply could not understand what she was going through. His lack of sensitivity towards her situation was pushing her to her limits. His world revolved around his mother, his child, his home, his family, and his business — with little to no regard for Sania and her dreams. That is what was breaking her. When you love someone deeply, it is devastating to realize you have become invisible to them.
