Spotify has named Karachi-based Urdu hip-hop artist Shareh as its RADAR Pakistan artist for Q4 2026, spotlighting a rising voice whose genre-blending sound and introspective lyricism are helping shape Pakistan’s evolving hip-hop scene. Moving fluidly between rap, R&B, trap and alternative influences, Shareh has built a distinctive musical identity through songs that explore love, loss, ambition and self-discovery.

Shareh’s music is resonating with listeners in Pakistan and beyond, with the US, the UK, Bangladesh, Canada and the UAE among his top streaming markets on Spotify. His appeal is particularly strong among younger audiences, with listeners aged 18 to 24 accounting for 55% of his audience. His growing presence on the platform is also reflected in more than 220,000 additions of his music to user-generated playlists over the past 12 months, highlighting how listeners are discovering and connecting with his sound.

Collaborations have played an important role in Shareh’s musical journey, allowing him to explore different sounds while establishing his presence within Pakistan’s hip-hop scene. He has worked with some of the country’s most prominent artists, including Talha Anjum, Talhah Yunus, Jokhay, Umair and Hasan Raheem, contributing to projects such as Khana Badosh and ROCKSTAR WITHOUT A GUITAR. More recently, he featured on “WAY 2 BLESSED” from Jokhay and Umair’s collaborative album DESIGNERR, alongside UK rapper Keeya Keys and Pakistani rapper JJ47, bringing together Pakistani and UK rap influences and reflecting Shareh’s ability to collaborate across borders.

While collaborations have helped expand his musical horizons, Shareh’s own work remains deeply connected to his roots. His project Gulshan Tapes, released one track at a time, brings together songs written at different stages of his life, all created in Gulshan, the Karachi neighbourhood where he grew up and continues to live. Spanning different sounds, moods and experiences, the collection captures his evolving relationship with the place he calls home.

Personal experiences have also shaped Shareh’s artistic journey. His album THE DREAM draws its title from a family memory in which his grandfather mistakenly read the words “Share the Dream” on a billboard as “Shareh the Dream.” What began as a lighthearted moment became a lasting symbol of his artistic ambitions and determination to pursue music.

Set for release on November 6, Shareh’s upcoming album WAKE UP CALL marks the next chapter in his artistic evolution, following INSOMNIA and THE DREAM. While his earlier projects explored restlessness, ambition and the pursuit of dreams, WAKE UP CALL reflects on what happens when those dreams begin to become reality. Blending dark R&B, hip-hop, trap, dream pop and contemporary South Asian influences, the album moves between confidence and vulnerability, exploring themes of love, heartbreak, identity and personal growth.

As Spotify’s RADAR Pakistan artist for Q4 2026, Shareh is featured in an exclusive mini-docuseries that takes listeners beyond his music, offering a closer look at his creative journey and the experiences that have shaped his sound.

Reflecting on being named Spotify’s latest RADAR Pakistan artist, Shareh said: “Being part of Spotify’s RADAR was something I always wanted to do. It has been great to share a side of myself beyond the music and give people a glimpse into my life and the moments behind the scenes. It is a different way for people to get to know me and I have really enjoyed the experience.”

“Shareh is part of an exciting generation of artists pushing the boundaries of Pakistan’s hip-hop scene. His ability to move across genres while staying true to his own artistic identity, combined with his growing international audience, makes him a great fit for RADAR Pakistan. We’re excited to spotlight his story and support him as he continues to explore new creative directions and connect with listeners around the world,” said Rutaba Yaqub, Spotify’s Artist & Label Partnerships Manager for Pakistan and the UAE.

Through RADAR, Spotify continues to champion emerging talent and help artists reach new audiences. Joining a growing roster of RADAR Pakistan alumni, including Murtaza Qizilbash and HAVI, Shareh represents a new generation of artists bringing fresh perspectives and sounds to Pakistan’s music scene.
