Adeel Chaudry is the new “Mc.Steamy” in town and guess what? He’s not just serving looks but also some heavenly food. Looks like Fawad Khan, Shehryar Munawer and Bilal Ashraf have competition…
What’s All The Hype About?
Pakistanis are calling Adeel Chaudry, who goes by @thestylishgravy on Instagram, the Gordon Ramsey of Pakistan. Adeel describes himself as a “food connoisseur “on his website and has a unique way of getting around with food. On his website, his wide range of topics range from 10 Foods That Help Fight Depression to The 8 Ultimate Anti-Dark Circle Products.
Adeel has a Degree in Finance from The Lahore School of Economics but his passion for the palate drove him to start his Facebook page back in 2015 which was named Dubai Food Forum and later changed to The Stylish Gravy in 2016.
His travels worldwide (mostly Dubai, where he has spent much of his life) and simultaneous food reviews contributed to his success nationally and internationally. The page and the restaurant is now managed by both Adeel and his partner-owner Asad Naizi.
Is Food Everything He Has To Offer?
Food isn’t everything Adeel has to offer. During his stay in Dubai, where he was officially invited by the government to attend the annual Dubai Food Festival, Adeel was seen critiquing Michelin starred restaurants.
On Facebook, videos of him scuba diving at Khanpur Dam and hiking his way up to Neelum Valley have taken us by storm.
Adeel owns an eatery by the name of “Junoon” in Lahore and has an even bigger following on social media. Not so surprisingly, Adeel landed the Gulf Today’s radar during his stay in Dubai. “World’s renowned food Vloger Mark Wiens came all the way to try his creations. “We were smitten away with his good looks and charm” remarks Gulf Today.
He’s spicing things up both in and out of the kitchen and while we can listen to him talk about food all day we would much rather listen to him talk about his fitness routine. And psst, if anyone’s looking, Adeel is currently single!
