1. Yumna Zaidi in Dil Na Umeed Toh Nahi.
Sumbul’s pain, confusion & helplessness was heart-wrenching. Yumna yet again proves keh
‘Hum sa ho to saamnay aaye’.

2. Hamza Sohail in Raqeeb se
is doing a marvellous job. His portrayal of a young guy impressed by, & dependent on the woman in his life, his mere simplicity, is just endearing. We gladly welcome the addition of refreshing new talent onscreen.

3. Saqib Sumeer in Raqeeb Se
Saqib Sumeer as Rafiq Abba has caught our attention. ‘Na cheekhna hai, na chillana hai, but phir bhi sub ko tension main daal dena hai’. We love his cunning, loaded dialogues & actions.

4. Ahsan Khan in Qayamat
‘Kabhi uncouth, kabhi confused & lost, kabhi total badtameez with zero manners & kabhi, a doting father’ – Ahsan is a treat to watch in Qayamat as Rashid.

Haroon Shahid in Qayamat
Jawad ki confusion & internal conflict ney humain bhi confuse ker dya hai. ‘Haroon’s controlled, cold & apnay kaam sey kaam rakhne walay expressions were a sure winner in portraying his effort to hide his pain.’

Yasra Rizvi in Dunk
‘The restrained yet deep & unbearable pain of loss & its stark reminder on seeing Haider’ – Yasra aced the scene.

7. Imran Ashraf in Raqs e Bismil
He won us with his portrayal of a man who is willing to give up everything for his sister-cousin & at the same time tortured by the name of his love interest being dragged into the entire ‘messy’ affair.

8. Momin Saqib in Raqs e Bismil
It is not easy to make your presence felt before a talent like Imran Ashraf. But Momin Saqib as Isa is absolutely fantastic & blowing us away with his portrayal of dedication & respect towards an older brother – sibling relationship goals!

9. Bilal Abbas in Dunk
Zabardast is the word we wanna use … we felt ‘Haider when he raised his hands in maafi to the professor’s wife. He’s scared but repentant & still mustering up the courage to face the professor’s daughter.’ He certainly took us along on his journey.
