Bollywood’s Badshah Shah Rukh Khan’s Son, Aryan Khan was arrested In Drugs-On-Cruise Case. Here is what really happened up until now.
Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s 23-year-old son Aryan Khan was first detained, then arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau, NCB on Sunday night following a raid at a rave party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai.
The NCB are trying to expose a cartel & a possible link to Bollywood by stepping up action on anti-drugs cases since last year following the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
This seems to have now become a Bollywood Fraternity vs Police Case too as stars turned out in numbers and on social media to express solidarity & offer their support to SRK & family.
Many celebrities like Pooja Bhatt, Suniel Shetty & Suchitra Krishna Moorthi expressed solidarity on social media.
Pooja Bhatt tweeted
“I stand in solidarity with you @iamsrk Not that you need it. But I do. This too, shall pass.”
.
Suchitra Krishnamoorthi tweeted
“For all those targetting #Bollywood remember all the #NCB raids on filmstars? Yes nothing was found and nothing was proved. #Bollywood gawking is a tamasha. Its the price of fame.”
Pakistani actor Fahad Mustafa also tweeted in the light of this recent event
“Drugs are really damaging our youth and are so easily available in schools colleges and universities our government needs to check on this and as parents its ok to keep an eye on children, discipline them tell them to get bak home before maghrib azaadi ho choot nahi!”
Sussanne Khan also spoke in favour of Aryan Khan, calling him “a good kid”
Salman Khan was also seen arriving at Shah Rukh’s residence Mannat on Sunday night

Bail was demanded saying that Aryan had been arrested only on the basis of chat messages. “Aryan had no ticket, no cabin or seat on board the cruise. He was there because he had been invited. Nothing has been found on him.”

The star kid’s bail hearing will be held today.
Reports state that while Aryan was taken into custody, nothing was found on him and hence, he was booked only on consumption charges.
The NCB chief said that the bureau is looking at a ‘Bollywood connection’ & a larger nexus of narcotics. “There is a Bollywood connection & we are investigating all angles of the case. We are looking at the main supplier & the entire cartel behind this drugs case,” Pradhan told PTI, adding that the agency will “carry out its probe in a professional manner”. –Hindustan Times

Just In As Reported In The Business Standard
The NCB on Monday claimed before a city court that “shocking and incriminating” material recovered in WhatsApp chats of Aryan Khan & two others arrested in connection with the case showed international drug trafficking.
The Narcotics Control Bureau, which got the remand of Aryan Khan (23) and the other eight accused from the court till Thursday, also claimed that the WhatsApp chats discussed modes of payment for procurement (of drugs) and that several code names were being used.
Aryan Khan’s lawyer has claimed no drugs were recovered.
Let’s see where this case goes. But from where we’re standing, it looks like the case isn’t that straightforward. One thing for sure, Indian netizens are entertaining them well on twitter.
#Westandwithsrk has been trending daily in twitter since Aryan’s arrest. It had to be said that the police mean business and if they want to send out a message that no one is above the law – they seem to have done just that. In a country where SRK is revered with a demigod like status, fans have scrambled to express their support.
Aryan Khan’s arrest is a developing story.
