Yesterday, Diwali was celebrated all over the world and our feeds were flooded with gorgeous people and equally gorgeous outfits!
Diwali is believed to be a festival of lights and those celebrating decorate their homes with lights and candles, people dress up, meet up with their friends and families, pray, gather around the traditional delicacies and generally have a good time.
Diwali festivities were in full swing last night. Bollywood actor, Anil Kapoor, threw a Diwali bash in Mumbai and celebrities showed up looking their best! Now, these Diwali celebrations weren’t just limited to India, as Priyanka Chopra threw a big Diwali party in Los Angeles where she invited her friends from Hollywood as well!
Just like every year, Bollywood celebrities dressed to perfection, giving us ultimate outfit, hair, makeup, basically everything goals! It was hard but after much deliberation, we have picked our favorite Diwali looks (and photos) from Bollywood actresses that we are still gushing over!
1. Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt donned a blue lehenga choli by none other than Sabya Sachi. She paired multi-colored jhumkas with the dress, that too by Sabya Sachi jewelry. She wore her hair down, went with minimal makeup, and added a black bindi to finish off the look! So, so gorgeous. Alia Bhatt never fails to impress, whether it’s with her performance on screen or her style game!
2. Priyanka Chopra
The ultimate desi girl wore a floral lehenga paired with a choli with mirror work on it. Her outfit was designed by Arpita Mehta. For jewelry, she donned round traditional earrings, a choker necklace, and bangles. Beautiful!
3. Deepika Padukone
The style queen looked a pretty sight in a light pink ensemble worked with white embroidery all over the kameez and dupatta. She paired it with stunning jhumkas inlaid with mirror and pearl work. She rocked her bob haircut by wearing her hair down and adding beachy waves to it. Her makeup was minimal and went perfectly with her entire look.
She posted a photo of herself smiling and it brightened up our whole day!
4 & 5. Kareena & Karisma Kapoor
Kareena Kapoor wore a hot pink A line cut long shirt with plain straight trousers. Her dress was adorned with gold embellishment along the neckline. She paired it with gold and white jhumkas. For makeup, she went with kohl eyes and a light pink lip color. Her hair was tied in a bun and she finished off the look by wearing two bindis, one pink and one black. How simple, yet stunning!
Karisma Kapoor wore a mint green A line cut long shirt with a churi daar pajama. Her shirt was adorned with little pink flowers embroidered all over. She wore white khussas to go with the dress. To finish off the look, she wore golden earrings, silver bindi, and minimal makeup.
6. Janhvi Kapoor
Janhvi Kapoor donned a Manish Malhotra parrot green saree with mirror work all over the blouse and on the border of the pallu. She paired the saree with gold earrings and wore her hair down. She went with kohl eyes and nude lips for her final look. The color looked absolutely stunning on her. Don’t you think?
