So is Fajar really dead or can we hope that her presumed death is a planned strategy to deceive Zafar in order to make him feel safe & bring him in, as well as make us viewers realise the ugliness of our behaviour & attitude towards rape victims.

Saim never brought Fajar’s body home. His reaction also seems very muted even though we have been made to feel his pain & regret through flashbacks, but something is amiss.

Nasir’s dialogues to Noor. “If I can’t bring Zafar back, I will not show you my face ever again”. After witnessing a disappointing twist with Fajar’s death, this was the last thing we wanted him to say to Noor. Mutlub if you fail, Noor loses a husband after a sister?
Saim’s mother is least affected & doesn’t seem to have learnt her lesson at all.
How did you feel about Safia mourning Fajar’s death & realising her fault? We hope it will serve as a wakeup call for many parents.
If Fajar has really passed away, then we are extremely disappointed with this plot twist. The drama has been giving us hope & changing the narrative through Saim, Noor & Nasir’s character & we hoped to see the same continuity through Fajar returning to a normal life and Zafar being punished for his deeds. Why can’t our dramas give us hope?
