Coke Studio is at it again to give us the perfect year’s end (hoping it releases this month, fingers crossed!). With 13 seasons under its belt, Coke Studio is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after shows in Pakistan. Every year, fans anxiously wait for Coke Studio’s artist lineup so they can spot their favorites. This year was no different.
The Express Tribune exclusively released the artist line-up for Coke Studio season 14 & the names include Hassan Raheen, Abida Parveen, QB, Naseebo Laal, Atif Aslam, Momina Mustehsan, Meesha Shafi, Faris Shafi, Soch The Band, Butt Brothers, Karakoram, Talha Yunus, Justin Bibis, Faisal Kapadia (as a solo artist). This year’s season will be led by Xulfi, an aced composer, songwriter & music producer. Xulfi will be accompanied by Zain Ali and Abdullah Siddiqui – the men behind Peshawar Zalmi’s anthem as Associate Producers.
What’s Different This Time Around?
According to The Express Tribune, the new season will have a total of 12 songs (no covers) & each song will have a different music video director. Also, Artists like Talha Yunus and Faris Shafi will bring a different feel to Coke Studio with their rap genre. Moreover, Hassan Raheem who rose to fame with his songs like Paisa and Aisay Kaisay will be making his Coke Studio debut. On top of that, the Shafi Siblings, Meesha Shafi, and Faris Shafi will be seen in a song together. Hence, the excitement levels of fans are high.
However, the list garnered mixed reactions from fans, some were ecstatic while others were a little disappointed and they took their disappointment to Twitter for the world to know. But, why the disappointment? Let’s hear it from the Twitteratis themselves.

Arooj Aftab On This Year’s Coke Studio?
Yes, you heard that right. The two times Grammy nominee Pakistani singer is all set to make an appearance on Coke Studio season 14. She took to Twitter to announce this news and this is probably one of the best news we have heard today. Click here to know more about Arooj Aftab.
Coke Studio has not revealed a release date as of now but we assume it will be airing soon since the artist lineup is out as well.
