An episode that made us laugh & made us happy at Mehroo’s reaction. And now we eagerly await how Meheroo will come around to accepting Maahir’s proposal.
We are so grateful to the writer & director for keeping the dignity in Mehroo’s character, not showing that women in such situations can become desperate. Her intentions towards Maahir were clear, so (with apologies to Maahir) we thoroughly enjoyed her lashing out at him.
Our Thoughts
Was Maahir too hasty in proposing to Mehroo? Did Nermeen make him realise he actually valued Mehroo’s attention genuinely or that this is perhaps, the best solution to his problems?
We just wish he had not said that he loved Mehroo…
Notable Performances
Mojis Hassan gives a brilliant performance as Maahir’s friend.
Bilal Abbas brilliantly depicts the emotional journey Maahir goes through, from listening to the taunts by Nermeen to realising marrying Mehroo might just work out for him. His comic timing were as much on spot as his reaction to Mehroo getting angry.
Hadiqa Kiani portrays the shock, confusion & anger of Mehroo with such a fine balance that one can totally connect with her.
