We are gifted a light-hearted, thought-provoking & totally heart-winning episode of Dobara. Maahir & Mehroo’s journey in this zalim samaj has all our attention & support.
Another Side To Maahir

Maahir’s response to Mehroo on what he liked about her ”Aap woh hain jo meray pass kabhi na raha” showed us a much deeper side to him. We saw Maahir’s mehroomi, the abandonment he faced by his loved ones & wanting to have someone by his side always… all this & the surety of love that only Mehroo can give him, he knows that no matter what, she will not leave him, he will not have to face all this again in his life – the sum realization of these feelings came together & was reflected aptly in last night’s episode.
Is Mehroo Regretting Her Decision Or Is The Society Too Cruel?

He seems to be comfortable stepping in & taking his place as Maahir Jahangir, husband of Mehroo. It is interesting how confidently he introduces himself as Mehroo struggles to utter an introduction about him to whoever she meets.
The drama continues to make us smile through Maahir’s amusing & cute dialogues as well as make us think about our stereotypical mindsets on such marriages & the judgments we pass on them.
Bilal Abbas Khan plays Maahir with innocence & subtleness that must be appreciated. One minute he is cute & supportive, then the very next, he is sarcastic & firm, all without losing the essence of Maahir.
Dobara Sheds Light On Many Women Go Through

Hadiqa Kiani is handling this character so well in her portrayal of a woman who has listened to her heart but now struggles to own her decision before the world, fearing its judgments, & reactions from her own loved ones. What an apt representation of what so many women must go through.

It is so lovely to have Ibtisaam as a supportive & positive character. Phuppo’s reactions are too good & make you laugh.

Minaal, we are hoping that you will come around gradually & understand your mother’s dil ki baat. Zameer bhai aap khair munaain…
