With Ahad Raza Mir in a comic role for the first time, two love stories unfolding in one drama, humorous punch lines and sarcastic remarks on the topics that are much needed to be talked about – Will Hum Tum be the perfect Ramzan Entertainment?
We are expecting a series of dramas to run on prime entertainment channels this Ramzan to fill our evenings with laughter and joy! Hum Tum is no exception! It is the brainchild of the writer-director duo of Chupke Chupke – Saima Akram Chaudhry, and Danish Nawaz and is expected to air on HUM TV.
Hum Tum will star Ahad Raza Mir and Ramsha Khan, Sarah Khan and Junaid Khan as lead pairs.
Pakistani audiences will watch Ahad Raza Mir in a comic role for the first time. Previously, we have seen him in dramas including Yakeen Ka safar, Ye Dil Mera, Aangan, Ehd e Wafa among others. It is interesting to see him branching out and we cannot wait to see how he performs this role!
Ramsha Khan is currently swaying the audience with her performance in Sinf e Aahan as Pariwesh. Unlike Ahad, she has played comic roles before in the dramas Shehnai and Ghisi Piti Mohabbat. As for Sarah Khan, we saw her last in the drama Laapata as Falak. The singer-actor, Junaid Khan last starred in the drama Inteha e Ishq on A-Plus TV.
Two teasers of the drama were released over the weekend that gave us an insight into the four main characters. Read further to know more about them!
Ahad Raza Mir And Ramsha Khan’s Teaser
The first trailer stars Ahad Raza Mir and Ramsha Khan who look great in their new avatars! Both seem to have a rift and we are expecting the plot will be centered on bridging that gap. Ahad, as always, has nailed the expression game while Ramsha looks stunning! Ramsha’s character is an outspoken girl who is fierce and bold. Both are students of chemistry and seem to live in the same house. But oh God, are we in for another cousin love story?
Hum Tum – a modern, humorous and very ‘21st Century’ hate to love story between two youngsters, Neha played by the gorgeous and talented Ramsha Khan and Adam played by the dashing Ahad Raza Mir encircles just that.

Interlaced between their scenes, are some fleeting shots of other family members. There seems to be a lot going on within the house with multiple characters adding to the storyline (which now seems to be the fixed family ingredient added to any Ramzan drama). It was good to see Adnan Jaffar in a light-hearted project after the last shot of Jo Bichar Gaye which was a heavy take on the senses. Overall, Hum Tum seems to be a promising watch!

The Second Teaser Stars Junaid Khan And Sarah Khan
While Teaser One focuses on Ramsha & Ahad’s duo, the second teaser is fully onboard with Junaid & Sara Khan.
Watching Sarah Khan & Junaid Khan together in a Ramzan drama with comic relief thrown in might just hit the funny bone. Teaser 2 is geared to make us smile & Junaid Khan’s character is doing just that. We also caught a glimpse of Arjumand Raheem (last seen in Ghisi Piti Mohabbat).
Junaid is portrayed as your nice guy next door who is also a great chef! (All boxes ticked off on the eligible bachelor checklist!) But not so much for Sarah Khan’s character who seems to mostly be annoyed by Junaid’s character! What is the backstory, how will Junaid’s character win Sarah’s heart, and will she give in to his love for her?

It is interesting to note that drama makers have continued with the more, the merrier formula. We see not one but two potential couples here. One would think that the likes of Ramsha Khan & Ahad Raza Mir would be enough to pull in audiences (and laughs) but then, Junaid & Sarah throw us a surprise in teaser 2 and viewers are already looking forward to their onscreen shenanigans … if this is your typical Ramzan drama, there will be enough to keep us entertained till the 30th Roza!
