Jahan Ara’s gradual yet definite transition into Badshah Begum is realistic & allows us to be part of her journey, thus creating a bond between her & the audience. From freeing the birds to prohibiting Shahmir from announcing marriage for Badshah Begum, she owns up to the role at times, understands what is at stake, but then, all of a sudden, we see the soft, poetic and maybe a bit fragile side to Jahan Ara as well.
Do you feel scared for Gulnaar? Can being a Khadima-e-khaas save her from Murad? Hiba Aziz is doing a fabulous job & has us fully invested in this character.
By kidnapping Bakhtiar, what does Shahzaib plan to accomplish? Is he going to use him as a bargaining tool to get Badshah Begum to leave the guddee?
