“Ek choti see Ghalti ko Gunah-e-Kabeera buna ker, mera sara naam-e-Amaal siyah ker diya”. Hala utters tragic words which echo the sad reality many females face in society – Women are not allowed to err.
What We Loved
We appreciate the drama depicting Hamza’s gradual change of heart. His heart melts for Hala at times, but then his anger and feeling of betrayal takes over. However, Hala’s muted plea for justice is not going unheard.
The final scene was probably the best so far, where Hala wept at Dadi’s grave and Hamza listened in, yet showed no reaction. Hala’s dukh touches our heart and we cannot help but feel heartbroken for her.
Nafees apologising to Hala was another moving scene. Though we still can’t bring ourselves to forgive him, yet we appreciate the apology.
Hala’s sister seems to be the only sane voice in the house, who can and is, raising her voice for Hala.
Oh Sameen, You Did The Right Thing But Were Your Intentions Pure?
We were glad that Sameen was willing to give a chance to Khurram and atleast hear him out. But alas, her purpose was to push Hamza to a point that he would react against Hala or Khurram.
Shah Jahan And Raees Are On Another Level Of Toxicity
The drama throws another plot twist by bringing in Raees’ greed. If Shah Jahan was a scheming mastermind against Hala, Raees will give her strong competition in being manipulative, greedy and mutlabi. It is amazing how he employed Shah Jahan to achieve his objective with Nafees.
Shah Jahan’s hatred for Hala has risen to an entirely new level. She is even willing to forsake the house as long as Hala is ruined and leaves Hamza’s life for good.
