An instant trend once again. That’s Mere Humsafar for you. We loved how Hala finally takes a stand for herself, lets out all the emotional build-up from all these years, gives Nafees a piece of her mind, and makes him realize the neglect she’s felt. Standing up for herself in front of Shah Jahan, girl, you deserve a medal for that. All in all, Hala rocked and left everyone in shock.
Hania Aamir, take a bow. We can’t imagine anyone else as Hala. You’ve taken us on a great journey with her, filled with emotions. From heartwarming moments with Hamza, surviving the wrath of Raees and Shah Jahan – you’ve aced it. The dialogues and expressions were perfect and oh Hala, we felt for your loss too.
Hamza stepped up too and defended her once again in front of everyone. Hala being concerned for her child and him being concerned for her, he’s raising the bar high. Oh and that flashback scene absolutely had us for a moment. Perfect balance, wasn’t it?
All in all, we never thought a drama that seemed kind of typical could pull through and be one for the books!
