The very first Coke Studio Live will be taking place in Dubai on October 14th, 2022. Here’s the lineup and our very own FUCHSIA Spotify playlist of the hits we hope will make it Live in Dubai! Let’s get into it!
On to the main point: Coke Studio Live will be featuring our favorite artists and their latest hits. Names all set to take over the stage and give us some amazing performances are the ‘Pasoori duo, Ali Sethi and Shae Gill, followed by Hasan Raheem, Justin Bibis, Karakoram, Young Stunners (screams internally) and Faisal Kapadia.
Along with them, Action Zain, Haider Ali Tafu, Yusuf Ramay along with others will be taking over the stage too. This screams talent and raw, beautiful vibes doesn’t it?
In its honor (and much anticipated excitement), we have handpicked some of the performing artists’ songs from the latest season and a few others which have just stayed with us. So, without any further ado, put your headphones on and it’s time to vibe!
1. Pasoori – Ali Sethi & Shae Gill
Pasoori fever is still on! Jamming to it in the car, finding yourself dancing to it, singing it at the top of your lungs. That’s the power it holds and we love it.
2. Peechay Hutt – Hasan Raheem & Justin Bibis
Rasta choriye, because we can’t wait to see Hasan Raheem and the Justin Bibis perform this hit. The lyrics, uber cool feel of the song makes it stand out.
3. Phir Milenge – Faisal Kapadia & Young Stunners
Phir ilenge sealed the Coke Studio season in the most magical and perfect way possible. Faisal Kapadia’s vocals, Talha Anjum and Talha Yunus’ eap is the combo we never new we needed.
4. Ye Dunya – Karakoram, Faris Shafi & Talha Anjum
Production, visuals, vocals, lyrics, all tick the right boxes! The fusion of the beats nd the hint of rock make this stand out. We think it’s on the underrated side but hey, it’s not too late to give it the hype it deserves.
5. Tu Jhoom – Abida Parveen & Naseebo Lal
We have no words for this track. It takes us on a spiritual journey, it’s calming and feels like a warm hug saying ‘everything will be alright,’ when things are off. It’ll never get old. Could this be the new ‘Kun Faya Kun?‘
6. Beparwah – Momina Mustehsan
Momina’s sweet, yet nostalgic voice makes us fall head over heels for Beparwah. So, we’re bringing it back!
7. Thagyan – Zain Zohaib & Quratulain Baloch
Qawali style and the modern music fusion blend in well. Plus, QB’s vocals just take it to another level.
