American comedian and television host Jimmy Fallon mocked Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif because he was “struggling with his translation headphone” during his recent meeting with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. Pakistani people are not happy, scroll down to get in on the details.

Pakistanis are questioning why Jimmy Fallon couldn’t talk about the floods in Pakistan on his show, considering the huge number of following the comedian has but was quick to make fun of our Prime Minister. While some are embarrassed, others feel it was simply unnecessary and the headphone incident could’ve happened to anyone.
Here’s what Jimmy Fallon said:
Take a look at the conversation happening on Twitter:
“Cannot stand white people and their hypocrisy. @jimmyfallon chose to joke about Shahbaz Sharif on his show but radio silence on floods and funds. That’s white people for you.”
“this could happen to literally anyone?? how about jimmy fallon talks about the floods in pak instead huh?”
“Hey @jimmyfallon – have u talked abt the devastating floods destroying Pakistan? “A nation of 220 million people” is destroyed by climate change because of YOUR country’s greed & wastefulness. If u haven’t donated or raised funds for us u don’t get to use us as a joke.”
“I think it’s more embarrassing that #JimmyFallon took this opportunity to make fun of a politician without saying one word about the devastating floods that have ravaged the country.Maybe thats what we should be pointing out.Angrezon ki ghulaami unkay ghalat ko sahi samajhna hai.”
“It’s exceptionally callous and in bad taste for @jimmyfallon to mock the PM of a country which is suffering from the worst natural calamity in its history. A comedian is all about the his timing and this joke just fell horribly flat. Use your massive platform to to better.”
“Not a fan of Shahbaz shareef but how can a person who loves Pakistan can enjoy what jimmy fallon did, he made fun of us & we are going ga ga over it??? Ajeeb priorities hain bhae sab ki”
Some Are Of A Different View
“Personified embarrassment at Jimmy Fallon Show: “that guy is the leader of 220 million people — and then he finally get his headset in and pants fell down.”
“Jimmy Fallon did the right thing. Comedy is his job, not the fundraising for floods! Get off your pseudo derrière and help your own people. We don’t need any white people doing what is our job.”
“Getting roasted by Jimmy Fallon has to be his biggest achievement in life. You ain’t gonna get bigger than this. This is it. CHEERS.”
As a comedian, it is his job to make jokes about anything and everything, so does the pressure really fall on his shoulder to raise awareness about the floods in Pakistan? However, at the same time, international celebrities like Bella Hadid have taken to their social media handles to talk about the devastating situation in Pakistan. Which side are you on?
