We all seem to be blaming Basit but in reality, does the fault lie with Ayesha for lying to Basit in the first place?
Basit seems to be having deeper issues that are now surfacing. We wonder if the drama will show him visiting a therapist.
While everyone’s first reaction is, why Basit doubts his best friend and wife, but are we really being fair to him? Why did Ayesha have to lie to her husband? Why is the blame not on her or at least partly?
On top of that, was she justified in saying ‘I will not give any explanation?’ Her obvious response should have been her explaining to Basit what had really happened but alas, then the drama will have no story!
Why do we always expect the man to not doubt or stay silent while the woman might have given him valid reasons to doubt?

There was no need for Zoya to talk in that badtamez tone with her mother inlaw. Regardless of how wrong the inlaws were, she could have used a more respectable tone. Actually, there was no need to reply at all. We wonder if she’s playing with fire.
What is the mother up to? Does she think Zoya’s marriage won’t last long and hence, she is keeping her Nikah a secret, buying time?
