Kaala Doriya is the latest drama on the block but is it hitting the mark? Keep scrolling to find FUCHSIA’s review.

The Hits
It was endearing to see the Dadi and Dada’s relationship. It makes you realise how older couples might not have the freedom to do what they want if they are dependent on their children. It also represents the longing and hardships of a long distance relationship.
The bhabhi-dewar relationship, the brotherly teasing and a positive saas-bahu relationship are all the winning points for the drama.
The Misses
Why did Muna slap Asfi? That was a bit exaggerated. After all, he had only taken dadi to meet dada and also, it’s Muna’s father who is in the hospital.
Mahnoor is so insensitive. By visiting Asfi’s house and telling everyone that he had taken Dadi to meet dada was definitely not a good thing and created unnecessary hangama.
It does become difficult to watch a drama that could have offered a better script with improved dialogues, carrying more punchlines, just like we had witnessed in ‘Hum Tum’ and ‘Ishq Jalebi’. Moreover, the exaggerated performances (that seem completely unnecessary) are accompanied by poor visuals/post-production quality that add to the disappointment.
