Judging a single working mom, Abaan hiding his test results, Abeer manages to get another phone … Pinjra is keeping us hooked.

Javed most probably represents that part of society that is easy and quick to judge women, expect them to compromise, and refuses to see the challenges they face. His straightforward, judgmental and somewhat rude comments to Wajiha highlighted the deep rooted misogynistic mentality that prevails around us.
Funny thing that Javed has an issue with Wajiha going out alone to work leaving her kids at home, but he is absolutely okay when she independently organises a cool birthday party for his daughter. Javed bhai ahem ahem….
It might seem that Azaan has it the easiest but in reality, his burden is no less. To observe everything around him becoming more chaotic every day, and seeing his loved ones heading towards destruction must be so torturous. He can also feel his mother’s struggle and inability to cope up.
The new kid in Abaan’s class looks like trouble. And Abaan might become his next target.
Khadija’s oblivion to her children’s plight or internal turmoil is frustrating to watch. We are getting tired of her forever tired and stressed presence. Never uttering a word of comfort to her children. She needs to stop feeling sorry for herself and be the mother her children need.
How can she not notice Abaan’s disturbed mindset reflected through his sketches.
We appreciate the drama highlighting that sometimes what children do, sing, draw, write can be a reflection of their internal feelings.
Dear Abeer, what are you up to? Treading a path that will only lead to trouble. Her friend has given her a new phone now. Khadija suspecting Abeer’s friend was a mother’s intuition that something is wrong.
