I know it sounds a bit dramatic but for us, it is our morning newspaper how else will I find 10 other people amused by the same thing we are? If you’re confused about why #RIPTwitter is trending, it’s because Elon Musk asked his employees to either go hardcore or leave the company. This led to numerous employees walking out due to which the Twitter office had to be temporarily shut down till the 21st of November.
In a poll on the workplace app Blind, which verifies employees through their work email addresses and allows them to share information anonymously, 42 percent of 180 people chose the answer “Taking exit option, I’m free!”
A quarter said they had chosen to stay “reluctantly”, and only 7pc of the poll participants said they “clicked yes to stay, I’m hardcore.”
As soon as this spread, Twitter went into a frenzy and started mourning the company the Twitter way! (FYI it’s not confirmed that the site is shutting down)
