Ahmed Sahab Discusses Playing The Role Of A Stereotypical Father
“Mujhay lagta hai kay wo hamesha chahta hai kay wo sahi faisaly karay magar somehow wo ghalat hi faisaly hotay thay.Meray khayal mein writer yeh batana chahti hein kay larkiyon kis kismatein jo hein wo baap ya maa kay haath mein nahi hoti. Aap jo bhi sochtay hein wo acha sochtay hein apni beti kay liye magar agar kismat mein uskay sath bura hona likha hai tou wo hoga. Jo ghalat faisala hojata hai usko sahi karnay kay liye phir wo baap sochta hai kay mein yeh karon yeh wo karon.”
Ahmed sahab shared that his character is in the middle where he wants to take the right decisions but somehow it always ends up as the wrong one. He also told us that the writer tried to convey the message that the fate of the daughters is not always in the hands of the parents.
What Does Saad Represent In The Drama According To Osama Tahir?
“I think Saad comes from a broken family,divorced parents, baap absentee or maa this jinhon nay pala but after one point maa bhi chaligai so he was left alone. I think that is something kay humein andaza nahi hota kay aisi aik aat families nahi hein, society mein buhat si families hein jo broken families hein, buhat si families hein jo kisi ka inteqal hogaya ho. It is very difficult kay single families mein achay tareeqay say sab kuch hojata hai, its a rare scenario. On the flipside humein yeh dekhta hai kay jab acha nahi hota maamla, agar baap ya maa achi an ho tou uska kya asar parta hai tou I think that’s what Saad represents.
Osama Tahir spoke about how his character Saad represents the people who come from broken families and how it reflects on them as a person.

“Mujhay jab yeh role offer hua tou yeh batayagaya kay yeh hai hi aisi, wo banti nahi hai but wo hai hi aisay is dramay mein kyun kay mazi mein uskay sath kuch aisi cheezein hui hein kay wo jo itna karwa bolti hai or yeh sach bhi hai kay humlog apni normal life mein bhi buhat saray aisay logon say miltay hein jo kay kuch is tarhan kay hotay hein or hum sochtay hein kay yeh aisay kyun hein, yeh itnay badmizaj hein. Lekin uskay peechay unki zindagi kay aisay karway sach hotay hein jo unko aisa kardetay hein. Wo roti bhi hai , wo hasti bhi hai wo sab kuch hai us character mein”
Javeria tells the the gist of her character where she explains that the phopho in “Betiyan” has faced some harsh realities of life which has shaped her character into how she is.
