1. Saad Khan in Aik Thi Laila
It is difficult to make your mark in a drama featuring established actors like Iqra Aziz, Yasir Hussain and Nayyar Ejaz but Saad Khan does it with a smooth performance. He is making a mark and we are looking forward to seeing more of him in the drama.
2. Maham Aamir as Constable Ruqaiya in Aik Thi Laila
It is so much fun to see her in this role, especially her cute space buns. She wins you with a performance that is natural and funny without over doing it.
3. Urwa Hocane as Dania in Meri Shehzadi
Urwa’s portrayal of change in Dania as she desperately seeks Shehroze and her in law’s approval is impressive. When she weeps, she definitely touches our heart and we feel like helping her somehow.
4. Saba Qamar as Maya in Fraud
Saba Qamar portrays Maya’s dilemma in an effective manner. We feel her frustration, fears with regards to Shaji and her desperation to hold on to Shaan and Zimer. Maya has definitely made Fraud so much more interesting.
5. Sarah Khan as Anum in Wabal
Anum is selfish and emotional. Sarah Khan plays Anum in such way you often find yourself thinking she is not entirely wrong. Then at other times she really tests your patience with her materialistic and selfish desires.
