1. Mohammed Ehteshamuddin as Haji Mushtaq in Kabli Pulao
What a lovely and heart winning performance as he sings for Barbeena, expresses concern for her happiness and gives her respect with kindness and care.
2. Saqib Sumeer as Ghaffar in Kabli Pulao
Saqib Sumeer is making us dislike Ghaffar immensely. We are amazed at how his brutal manipulation has no limits.
3. Madiha Imam as Maira in Mujhe Qabool Nahin
Appreciating how Madiha portrays the complete destruction and break down of Maira’s spirits, without exaggerated emotions or expressions. Her eyes and facial expressions tell their own story.
4. Hareem Farooq as Fari in 22 Qadam
We are loving how Hareem Farooq is pushing the boundaries for herself and performing Fari with such energy and frankness that is just heart winning. She is not at all conscious about how she looks or how her antics might come across on screen. She is focused on portraying the free spirit of Fari.
5. Talha Chahour as Farooq in Jannat Se Aagay
Interesting to see Talha showing a versatility within Farooq’s character. He is soft and caring with Tabassum but can show his firm and aggressive side, if need be, as he did with that group of guys making fun of Farooq.
6. Ramsha Khan as Tabassum in Jannat Se Aagay
The way Ramsha is showing how, gradually, Jannat’s money and status is taking a toll on her and bringing out another side in her is both interesting and intriguing. It is done with a subtlety that confuses us as we question, if we are doubting Tabassum and in reality, it is nothing.
7. Mahira Khan as the Narrator in Razia
Mention worthy performance by Mahira Khan as she takes on the role of a storyteller. She intrigues at first look, catches our attention and soon we find ourselves engulfed in her story. What is interesting is, that as the drama progresses. we keep waiting for comments from the narrator.
8. Maya Ali as Kim in Yunhi
Maya has made us build a connection with Kim and when in this episode Kim breaks down and hugs Razia, Maya made us all teary eyed.
9. Sohail Ahmed as Babber Shah and Guru Lali in Jeevan Nagar
What an amazing performance as Sohail Ahmed makes us fall in love with both characters which are poles apart and we are treated to some great performances.
10. Rabia Butt as Munni in Jeevan Nagar
You can’t help but be mesmerized by Munni as she casts her spell on everyone around her. Loving how beautifully Rabia Butt has portrayed Munni’s upfront confidence without making her look sensational or questionable.
