1. Tehreem Ali Hameed as Minal in Neeli Zinda Hai
From crying for her mother, to attempting escape from Neeli, Tehreem definitely gave an impressive & solid performance that made audiences feel for Minal.
2. Mohib Mirza as Aman in Neeli Zinda Hai
The scared, worried & now sherminda Aman was perfectly portrayed by Mohib Mirza, definitely bringing the drama back into the game & waiting anxiously for what will Aman do next.
3. Mohammad Ahmed as Faheem in Neeli Zinda Hai
A veteran actor who needs no words to describe his talent. As Aman’s father, his character brings much needed positivity & makes it interesting to watch the drama.
4. Urwa Hocane as Laila in Parizaad
Urwa exudes mystery & sadness yet a slight wickedness as Laila in Parizaad, making us wonder – what is the story behind her? Oh and let’s admit, she brightens up the screen the minute she enters the frame.
5. Hina Afridi as Bushra in PSM
A super solid performance & she makes us all feel for Bushra. A big round of applause for Hina in making her presence felt in every scene despite having stars like Sheheryar Munawar & Maya Ali sharing the frame with her.
6. Sehar Khan as Mahpara in Rang Mahal
From a girl trying to survive, to a mature Mahpara taking her revenge, Sehar Khan is proving she is ready to take on any role & undoubtedly deliver it with excellence. Girl you rock!
7. Kaif Ghaznavi as Shabo in HKKST
Just that brief scene where Shabo looks at Mehreen going in Mashal’s room was powerful & the range of expressions, from surprise to wonder, and then not being bothered at all is praiseworthy. Kaif shows that even a small scene with powerful performance can have an immense impact.
8. Sarah Khan as Falak in Laapata
What an impressive performance when undergoing police interrogation & when she is sitting in the cafe with Geeti & Shams. Her performance is like a silent storm that creates so much noise around her but stays calm from within.
9. Ali Rehman as Shams in Laapata
It’s definitely praiseworthy when you portray a character in a way that audiences question some of its actions but still can’t stop feeling for, & rooting for that character. Ali is doing just that with Shams.
10. Ayeza Khan as Geeti in Laapata
Is she positive or negative? We keep questioning Geeti. Ayeza Khan has made sure that we stay in the grey. The manner in which she delivers this sudden change in behaviour & expressions, the unexpected transition from being good to cold & calculating is impressive & mention-worthy.
11. Ahmad Ali Akbar as Parizaad
All that we have to say “Ab toh adat see ho gai hai to see a great, heart-warming performance by Ahmed every week in Parizaad”
12. Sheheryar Munawar as Aslam in PSM
We are loving Sheheryar’s portrayal of this mature yet soft-spoken person with his heart still beating for Rakshi, but not forgetting his responsibility towards Bushra. Sheheryar has added old school charm & a romantic sadness to Aslam.
