A powerful performance reflecting the pain, disbelief & frustration of Momin as no one around him seems to believe him.
2. Sheheryar Munawar as Major Usama in Sinf-e-Aahan
An emotional & powerful performance that impacted audiences. It made everyone feel, not only patriotic, but also reflect deeper on the meaning behind the phrases in the national anthem.
3. Mawra Hocane as Meherbano in Qissa Meherbano Ka
Mawra really made us feel the pain & state of panic that Meherbano underwent as she faced Murad. It was subtle, to the point, and not exaggerated, which would have take away from the feelings evokes in the moment.
4. Maya Ali As Sonia in Jo Bichar Gaye
How beautifully she portrayed the care, anger & then maybe love that she feels for Rumi. She made their interaction so poetic & dil ko choo lenay wala.
5. Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz as Hikmet in Sang-e-Mah
Dear Zaviyar we are happy to see you finding your comfort zone & deliver just the right expressions & body movements that are portraying the young and jazbati aashiq Hikmet so well.
6. Yumna Zaidi as Annie in Parizaad
She is not called the queen of expression for nothing ! Once again, she proves she can make us cry, smile or feel the warmth with her subtly – a relatable & realistic performance.
7. Ahmed Ali Akbar As Parizaad
Ahmed Ali deserves a standing ovation with a never-ending round of applause for his phenomenal performance that will be written down as one of the best performances in the history of Pakistani drama industry.
8. Azaan Sami Khan As Azlaan in Ishq-e-Laa
Azaan continues to impress us with his performance as he depicts Azlaan’s changing condition from dukh to ghussa to revenge for Shanaya’s death.
9. Hania Amir As Gul Meena in Sang-E-Mah
Hania as Gul Meena is so enchanting that you want to keep watching her. Hania is totally owning this character with how comfortably she depicts the vivacious, emotional yet sumajhdar daughter of Zarghuna.
10. Fahad Hashmi In Jo Bichar Gaye
Fahad Hashmi wins us with a powerful & impactful performance that creates dread in the onlookers. His tone, body language & facial expressions come together in sync to communicate an ominous feeling of terror.
11. Iffat Rahim as Shakila in Aye Musht-E-Khaak
Iffat Rahim doesn’t allow her character slip away even for a second. Her portrayal of a mother who desperately wants to bring her son back on the right path & tries her best to avoid any explosive situation is believable & praiseworthy
12. Adnan Samad Khan as Abid in Ishq-e-Laa
Adnan has turned out quite the performance & we’re loving it! Despite the negative character, we feel for Abid as he’s refused a second time, his genuine feelings for Azka, his colorful shirts & on point accent & expressions are handing out winning moments in every episode!
