1. Feroze Kadri As Rayyan in GUMN
Absolutely loved the performance by Feroze Kadri as Rayyan in GUMN. He was able to create mystery around Rayyan, make us feel sympathetic towards him and then desperately wish for him to have a happy ending. We look forward to seeing him in more projects.
2. Tooba Siddiqui as Maya in GUMN
Tooba Siddiqui was back on our screen after a long time and it was a treat to watch her perform Maya, a strong girl who wouldn’t give in and kept fighting for justice. Best part was, Maya was just like any of us, without being preachy or standing on a pedestal of high morals.
3. Kinza Razzak as Amu in 22 Qadam
What a moving and heart-breaking performance by Kinza as Amu in 22 Qadam. She made us feel the pain that Amu was going through and at the same time, she became the voice of so many girls who go through the entire rishta and rejection drama.
4. Wahaj Ali as Junaid in 22 Qadam
It was towards the end and for a short time, but Wahaj Ali made us shed tears and feel from the heart with his moving and very genuine performance. Given the limitation that he couldn’t move his body much and had to communicate Junaid’s shock and panic with limited body language and expressions, Junaid’s plight in the hospital was an amazing performance.
5. Saba Qamar as Salma in Tumharey Husn Kay Naam
The elegance and grace of Salma with the sadness that surrounds her and makes her vulnerable. Well only Saba Qamar can make you feel all this through her solid performance. Loving her performance as Salma.
6. Haris Waheed as Omer in Tumharey Husn Kay Naam
Haris Waheed delivered such an apt portrayal of a young guy in today’s world, going through heartbreak yet handling it well and not letting go of his self-respect. He made our heart break for Omer.
7. Sehar Khan as Umeed in Fairy Tale 2
Sehar Khan made our hearts melt as Umeed’s went all teary upon hearing the news of her pregnancy. It was a heartwarming culmination of the journey that started in season one.
8. Imran Ashraf as Mureed in Namak Haram
In every episode, Imran Ashraf makes us like Mureed even more, making us aware of the injustice done to him and his family and feel his pain. His performance strikes a great balance of the two sides of Mureed; one that is ruthless & the other, horrified by what happened to him and his family.
9. Ahsan Khan as Hamdan in Sukoon
Ahsan Khan slips into character so smoothly that we have trouble thinking he could be anyone else but Hamdan. He balances the detachment yet sensitivity towards Aina evwr so subtly as we wait for him to finally fall in love.
10. Sana Javed as Aina in Sukoon
Sana Javed gains our sympathy as Aina. Lost & helpless, her expressions mirror the utter defeat of a young girl with shattered & broken dreams, afraid to face the world.
11. Kinza Hashmi as Husna in Khushboo Mein Basay Khat
Kinza delighted as Husna. The determined young girl who is unafraid of the perils of the world. We’re loving Husna at first glance!
12. Bilal Abbas Khan as Fazal Baksh in Ishq Murshid
Bilal Abbas charms his way into our hearts with every episode. Be it Fazal Baksh asking for a cup of chai or threatening Sukaina’s mother inlaw. Fazal Baksh’s comic stunts are all we need to smile on Sunday evenings!
