We’re all familiar with many DIY face masks which we apply for clearer skin. But prepping your skin is important and special when it comes to Eid or any other special event. So to prep your skin accordingly, the following DIY face masks are the best!
1. Besan Face Mask
This desi totka has proven to give great results so here it is! Have you tried this one before?
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp gram flour (besan)
- 1 tbsp yoghurt
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
Method
- In a bowl mix the gram flour and yoghurt well, until a smooth paste is formed.
- Then add in the turmeric powder and again, mix well.
- Apply it onto your face and leave it on for 25 – 30 minutes until completely dry.
- Rinse it off with lukewarm water and dry.
Tip: Apply a lightweight moisturizer to keep your skin looking smooth and fresh!
2. Banana And Aloe Vera Mask
This face mask gives a radiant glow, has proven to be a great natural exfoliator and has anti-inflammatory properties which naturally soothe the skin. So here’s how you can make it!
Ingredients
Method
- Mash the banana well and mix it with the aloe vera gel.
- Add in the oil and honey. Mix well until a smooth paste is formed.
- Apply it onto your face with a brush or using your fingers and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Rinse it off with lukewarm water and dry.
Tip: Spray aloe vera spray or apply vaseline overnight for the best results!
