22 Qadam: Are You A Fari Or An Amo In Real Life?

Is Liza making another mistake by giving up her space in Junaid’s life and unknowingly, making a place for Fari? 22 Qadam beautifully portrays the passion and journey behind the shattered dreams of many sports persons.
Junaid’s Challenges
Junaid’s disappointment and almost defeated attitude after not being selected for the Australian tour showed how tough it is to accept these decisions after all the effort one puts in. His conversation with Fari also made us realize how many sportspeople break away from their families and promising careers, undergo multiple challenges to follow their dream and despite working so hard at their fitness levels and the game, often have to face rejections.
Politics & Sports Go Hand In Hand!
22 Qadam is keeping you hooked with engaging storytelling, as audiences witness the power struggle between Liza and Fari. Not just that, but how the team might be swayed to vote in a certain direction was also quite intriguing. The drama is certainly giving us insights into what goes on behind the wickets and on a cricket ground. But we must not underestimate Keryana. We are sure she already has a strategy to counter Liza’s plan to bribe the players.
Love Triangle Feels
Are we seeing the start of “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” between Fari and Junaid? He is definitely all smiles and there is a warmth in his eyes when he talks to Fari. A shout out to Hareem Farooq for beautifully portraying the free-spirited Fari, whose charm is difficult to resist. Liza on the other hand is unfortunately, turning blacker by the day. Unlucky in love together with the power struggle on the field is bringing out the worst in her.
Relatable Characters
Many young people might have related to Amo’s struggle to live her life before she gets married. Not just girls, but even boys have to often forsake their dreams and passion to follow the life planned out for them by their parents, society and even, their own conditioned upbringing.
Amo is super talented yet super sure about her path in life, not giving in to taking risks, keeping others before her own dreams, and not following her passion to make it something even bigger and better is second nature for her. It is also interesting to see the juxtaposition of both sisters, Fari and Amo’s characters side by side. Both have the talent and potential for cricket, but one grabs it with both hands and the other treats it as a mere hobby. Something to be out aside after marriage.
Both girls give us a peek into true to life people who might have been Fari or Amo at one point in their lives. Which one do you relate more to? Let us know in comments below.
