What an emotionally charged episode! From facing harassment on the field and sold-out umpires, to holding Liza responsible for match fixing, 22 Qadam delivered a power packed episode.

Harassment On the Field
22 Qadam highlights that regardless of how mentally strong one is, harassment can take its toll on the best among us – more on some and less on others. But it definitely affects our performance and, in some cases, feels like a complete violation of our entire being, which is probably how the girls felt when the boys’ team took their pictures and then went on to pass inappropriate remarks about them.
It was great to see Junaid saving the girls and establishing a positive male role model but maybe, a better option would have been for the girls to manage the issue by themselves, especially the picture-taking event. It would have been a great example to show how girls, if united, can do anything they want.
Liza Exposed
The episode brought us to the point where we were all waiting to somehow expose Liza and when that happened, we all felt jubilant and relieved, hoping that just maybe, the team will win now. Will the drama show Liza pay some legal consequences for match fixing?
Fari’s Speech
Last but not the least, Fari’s speech! Woohoo… Hareem Farooq delivered a star performance. All the points mentioned were hugely relevant, encouraging the girls but also making sure to shed light on the harsh realities faced by women every day. The best moment was when she utters: “Haan zid hai mujhay”. Thanks to the “zid” of many Faris, women today are able to accomplish a whole lot more.
Amu should have been a little more vigilant, rather than playing into the emotional track of Liza. Just like Fari, we were also frustrated at her for not being able to see through Liza. 22 Qadam is giving young girls goals to achieve their sporting dreams. We hope that the drama will give hope and courage to many who might be looking at Cricket as a possible career in sports!
