Here are 4 characters played by Fawad Khan that we dote on!
1. Jamal Ahmad In ‘Behadd’:
Jamal Ahmad a.k.a. Jo has to be a personal favourite! Not only did Fawad Khan deliver par excellence, but his character also won the hearts of many! Fawad Khan plays the role of a charming, young, and well-established man who lives abroad and is also a divorcee. When his character, Jamal Ahmad, meets his sister’s childhood best friend, Masooma (Nadia Jamil), he starts to spend a lot of time with her and her daughter Maha (Sajal Aly). Eventually, he proposes to Masooma who is five years older than her. This doesn’t sit well with Maha who frames Jamal for sexual harassment. No spoilers for the end game. Watch and find out what happens next. After all, Fawad Khan aka Jamal on the screen is all you’d want to see till Maula Jatt hits your screen, right?

Throughout the telefilm, Fawad Khan manages to sway the audience away with his charismatic personality and humor. Written by Umera Ahmad, Fawad Khan’s character broke stereotypes associated with second husbands and stepfathers. He, with an open heart, accepted his to-be wife’s daughter as his own and tried to share a cordial, in fact, amicable relationship with her. In addition, Fawad’s character was also shown to marry a woman older than him, thus once again moving away from society’s norms and setting an example for the audience to follow.
2. Hassan In ‘Dastaan’:
An example of conviction, strength, and dedication to his cause, Fawad Khan’s character in ‘Dastan’ was well written! He was able to play his role in the drama aptly and convinced us as Hassan.
Hassan is portrayed as a resilient man with hidden layers of identity. As the story moves forward, Hassan is shown to navigate the events of partition while trying to calm the turmoil in his personal life. Stuck between his ideology and relationships, he established a connection with the audience. Fawad delivered a stellar performance, enabling the audience to establish a correspondence with Hassan.
3. Hasan In ‘Ms. Marvel’:

Fawad Khan’s most recent project, Ms. Marvel also won our hearts for many reasons and one of them has to be that Fawad Khan was in it! Essaying the character of Hasan, Fawad Khan once again nailed his performance and his chemistry with Mehwish Hayat on screen was praiseworthy. Hassan’s role was short but definitely sweet. He was portrayed as a supportive husband who helped his wife Aisha in times of crisis with no questions asked and had faith in her that she will get things right eventually.
4. Zaroon Junaid In ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’:
Fawad Khan hit it out of the park with this one! Zaroon’s character arc was well sketched and well essayed! From a privileged entitled man who always thought highly of himself, to becoming a more responsible individual who was less class-conscious and more self-aware, Zaroon’s journey is one for the drama history books!
